Do people think the NFL is solely made up of people from one political part or the other? Sometimes you can just be for or against something because it's the right thing in your mind and politics doesn't play a part in it.

I find it ridiculous when anyone complains about "take politics out of my _____". A private organization that wants to use their influence or platform to spread a message they feel needs sharing to hope that they may in some way help change a situation they view as unacceptable - but nooooooo, I don't want no "politics" with my ___________.

If the Chief held a "Support the March of Dimes" night would that be decried? But the concept of instead promoting equality is met by outcry? Is White Supremacy that bad in this country?

I'm tired - don't try to analyze my statements. Just want to spout some shit somewhere today. Good times y'all!

Now can we enjoy some damn pizza in this thread or not?

Falcons +1 (-1 if you waited for today)
Bears +3
Bengals +3.5
Rams +3
Tampa +3.5

I also think the overs crush it for the first few weeks so I am pounding some overs too.

fun fact, something like 80% of winners cover the spread, fav or dog.. so when looking at picks i basically look for who I think will win and will avoid the points if I can get a better number. Now of course picking winners is hard since most ppl cant even pick 1 survivor/week but ya.

I don't do betting, what is a teaser bet? Can someone explain it better than this?

A teaser is a type of gambling bet that allows the bettor to combine his bets on two different games. The bettor can adjust the point spreads for the two games, but realizes a lower return on the bets in the event of a win. A teaser is a type of wager used in sports betting, most commonly in basketball and football. Wikipedia

Instead of betting 2 teams that are -3 and -5 you can basically buy points.

So say you buy 7 points, so now those 2 teams are +4 and +2(the 7 points) But you have to win both bets and of course you get worse odds since your adding points.

Where do you see what the payouts are? if it's a -130 bet line what would it go to with teasers?

TL;DR Tease u get 6, 6.5, 7 points but you lose a lot of the payout. Pinnacle is weird tho cause I def didnt get 6.5 on every bet (Indy should be -1 for example) but whatever.

My 5 team parlay pays +2362 but my 6 team tease pays +600

Also you never go over the 0 line because youre just wasting points.

So your 6 team hits you win $600 on a $100 bet whereas if you did it straight up it would have been near $2200? I think I understand it

well straight up id lose those juicy lines. ex i got SF -0.5 over -7. i just need a W when id need a TD+ normally. so it gives and takes.

to "sharps" teasers are dumb and i usually agree but i mean if i like 5 plays why not throw them on a parlay with some points?

A 6 point teaser is usually the standard -110 but if you go up to 6.5 or 7 it can vary.

As far as Nick's bets for some reason the Bills worry me. Jets suck but Josh Allen still worries me. I would have preferred teasing the Cards up rather than SF down as well.

Good luck and happy week 1 sir.

SF is #1 in the NFL in movement presnap. the final 4 teams in the NFL last year were top 4 in movement presnap. They are a well oiled machine. Arizona is gonna be good but theres no chance they stay close with SF.

Both games last year were close. SF may be the best team in the NFC again but those inter division games with big lines tend to always be closer. I'd like Arizona at 13-14 much more but who the eff knows.

both sides of the tease will hit for sure. Ill take SF PK over hoping the Dog covers. Zona fumbled last yr on i think the last play and SF returned it to push/win for ppl. I vowed never to bet these 2 after that miracle but here we are.
