Some interesting candidates on the ballot this year but most fall short. I looked hard at Phil Conner, Sam Jenkins, Joe Burgess, and John Davis but all fall a short for me. I was surprised Weber did not collect better stats with the way he started for me but when he lost it he lost it quick. My ballot:

Ignacio Ruiz: This is the last year to fix this injustice
Bob Long: Maybe best closer ever
OF Joseph Potts: Always one of the best and underrated players in the game
SP Jose Rodriguez: This should be an easy and unanimous call

Eh some award wins are always nice. Apparently my manager won Manager of the Year too so that's nice.

I find it funny that the guy with the most saves (766) is not in the HOF but the next two closest in saves are (611 & 466).

Saves are not everything. When Long was in his prime he was not near the league leader in saves and I was winning 105+ games a year but so many were not save situations because I was winning by a lot. Saves are nice but not the main indicator for a dominant reliever.
