NBA Thread
Re: NBA Thread
Shel is awfully quiet about this comeback that his boy Chrissy is putting together. God I'd love to see them knock out the Rockets.

Re: NBA Thread
I was at the driving range the past 2.5 hours. Honestly realized they won when I read your post.
I'll certainly be tuning in for the pivotal game 5.

Re: NBA Thread
2.5 hours at a golf range? yikes
Re: NBA Thread
They got down 15 in the 3rd and your boy willed them back and closed it out. I've bet OKC each of the past two games as I felt once they adjusted they'd take control.

Re: NBA Thread
Given that Orlando was willing to play, Milwaukee gets a loss for this, right?

Re: NBA Thread
Part of me wonders if the NBA will say they officially called off all the games to avoid the can of worms that could be opened by allowing a boycott.

Re: NBA Thread
If they want to make a statement they should call them off thru the weekend. I'm sure that is where most of their viewership is happening, this takes the game away and doesn't allow those old white excecs to make any money off them till Monday.
But this helps Portland if they do that with the Lillard injury

Re: NBA Thread
My best guess is the teams slated to play tomorrow get called off and everyone gets to say they "boycotted" a game when the reality is they got 2 extra days off, and all game 5s and 6s start up again on Friday/Saturday.Shams Charania @ShamsCharania NBA players have called for a meeting tonight in Orlando to determine next steps, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium .
And like I said, this likely goes down officially as the NBA calling off all games, no official team refusing to play any games.
Games start Friday like nothing ever happened, and Bubble Playoffs continue.
It wouldn't really make any sense to come to the bubble if you felt police brutality was still an issue after George Floyd then to not play at all the rest of the season because that thing you know still persists. Also, would that mean they won't play next season or the next, because police brutality and these events won't stop happening magically overnight.

Re: NBA Thread
Lakers and Clippers voted to end the season now.
All other teams voted to keep playing.
Lakers and Clippers walked out of the meeting early I guess because they didn't get their way.

Re: NBA Thread
You seem pretty upset cause I made you look silly about the whole knife thing.
I'm sure you'll get over it. Just man up and take your lumps, you failed on this one. Deal with it.

Re: NBA Thread
They're already back tracking. Nick looks silly again, shocking. The Clippers and Lakers voting on perhaps not continuing with the season was considered more of a polling, than a final vote, sources tell ESPN. The resumption of the playoffs remains still up in the air
Re: NBA Thread
Shel says they left cause they didnt get their way.. then posts that it was a poll.. but i look silly. i was merely answering why maybe they left the meeting early?
