The 1:55 and 4:00 explosions show how big that mushroom cloud was. I've seen quite a few explosions and this was nothing like I have ever seen. If a 500lb bomb was compared to this explosion the 500lb bomb would be a firecracker compared to a bundle of dynamite. This was huge! I bet when they figure it out it they will say it was probably closer to 10,000lbs of explosives if not more

I would bet a lot of money that was a cache of explosive materials used for vbied and the like....sucks for the civilian casualties

From what I read it was confiscated from a vessel in 2014. It was being stored there. Not sure on the reason for it still being there, but some law prevents them from destroying evidence? Not exactly sure about that part of it

Going back to my work office tomorrow for the 1st time in 5 months, it's gonna be weird not working from home at this point.


It's only a 1 day thing though to meet a Client. Then it's back home for the foreseeable future.
