What quality of players are you looking for to fill your Rookie team then? lol..
20/20 quality guys
calling BS on this one....20/20 guys are turning down minor league deals? Quite literally, i have never ever had that happen

20/34 types to be exact. May as well be 20/20 as they will never get above AA ball

Then I still wouldn't have a good enough squad to win the title.

I added essentially a top 3 ish hitter and SP in the entire game, it's not like everyone thought I made my team worse.

I get it, and he should do that.

But the point is he shouldn't have to. We have ghost players for that reason, so that's a pretty big issue in the game if only his rookie team or a few random teams here and there have ghost players not working accordingly.

Exactly! My A team doesn't have a compete pitching staff and they aren't being overworked. My settings for 7 day lineups are exactly the same.

I'll never understand not filling out your minors. You are missing a chance for guys to blow up randomly. I know it's a very very rare thing but you aren't even giving yourself a chance. Every 20/30 guy in my minors is just a lottery ticket to me. They'll never make it past AA or AAA but maybe 1 in 50 will blow up to a big league starter and maybe 1 in 500 will blow up into a superstar.

100% positive they are. Same with the pitching screen. I've been doing the 7 day lineups like this for 40 or so seasons. My settings never change so no clue

Ya but you auto draft every season anyways so I’m surprised you even knew you had a minor league system

(Btw I truly hate that you auto draft every season)

Files up. Working on updating S+ and Reports now. --- File Date is September 4th.

  • C Will Evans signs a 3 year $32,610,000 extension.
  • Splitters SP Ernesto Hernandez out 2-3 weeks with an elbow strain.
  • Boston SP David Magoon out 2 months with rotator cuff inflammation.
  • Bilel Goncalves - ALBOTM - .380 AVG, 7 HRs, 21 RBIs - Goncalves is doing his share as Richomond is surging late.
  • Juan Aguirre - NLBOTM - .364 AVG, 14 HRs, 28 RBIs - An absolute monster of a month for the division leaders slugger.
  • Pat Hounsell - ALPOTM - 5-0, 32.2 IP, 1.10 ERA, 47 Ks - A bright spot for Rhode Island as they struggled in late August.
  • King Crosby - NLPOTM - 5-0, 43.1 IP, 2.28 ERA, 35 Ks - Mr. Jong-Un's D.P.R.K. arent out of it yet as they hover around .500.
  • Rod Hamilton - ALROTM - 4-1, 35.1 IP, 2.80 ERA, 21 Ks - Second ROTM in a row and 3rd on the year.
  • Carlos Puente - NLROTM - .284 AVG, 12 HRs, 25 RBI - Going to regret trading him in a season or two. Puente is going to be a VERY solid DH.
  • Jon Bowman - ALPOTW - .444 AVG, 4 HRs, 8 RBIs - Has had a disappointing season, but hopefully this is a sign hes moving in the right direction.
  • Hiroya Ishida - NLPOTW - .542 AVG, 1 HR, 6 RBIs - Playing well despite being openly shopped for weeks.
------------------------------------

We're approaching the end of the season. Do we want to do the playoffs on Friday night at 7 PM (Friday mornings sim should be the last of the regular season) or Saturday night at 7 PM?

Greeks go 4-2 taking 2 of 3 from both Moose Jaw and Philly. Things are starting to feel normal again finally. Big week coming up with 3 game sets with PO and NE. Hopefully can put some distance between them and set the tone for the month.

Sheltown was on pace for I think 98 wins when we added Sakamoto and Robert Anderson.

Sheltown has gone 28-24 since adding these 2 players.

Such an annoying season after turning the corner a bit last year.
