And Drew Brees is gonna have to send a fruit basket to Jake Fromme, as now the focus has moved on to Fromme.

He texted some chick and jokingly said about a year ago that they should make guns super expensive so only elite white people can afford them. That girl today posted the convo on Twitter.

The Buffalo Bills players and ownership showed more public support for their rookie 5th round draft pick and 3rd string QB for saying something actually racist than the Saints players/ownership supported Drew freaking Brees for making a comment a million times less "racist" than Fromme did.

I know I'd be lying to say it and I'm certain I can't quit the Saints but right now I'd honestly just want to retire from the Saints the moment Brees retires.

I thought they’d cut Fromm instantly since he’s not even gonna be a elite, hell even serviceable white qb in the nfl

Yep. Instead, no players called him out publicly that I'm aware of. The team came out and condemned but gave passive support.

Saints players crushed Brees, I don't think the team has said anything, Sean Payton hasn't.

The players haven't publicly apologized, not that I thought they would, for helping stoke the fire by running to Twitter instead of going directly to Brees.
Their opinions are one thing, how they handled it was shitty.

I'm out on the Saints right now, so out on just about the entire team.

Tbh Brees should be held accountable more. Brees is an elite, prolly top 10 at worst (including Mahomes and I’ll say Lamar Jackson for now) qb in the nfl all time. His platform reaches further and frankly, probably hurt more people.

That also said his teammates quickly accepted Brees apology cause he has clout. I would guess most nflers don’t care about Fromm and some even wanna quietly take his head off in a game.

if he continues down the path hes on he'll prolly be top 3 when all said and done. but ya hes top 10 all time right now.

my top 10 would probably include:

Russell Wilson
Peyton Manning
Tom Brady
Patrick Mahomes
Aaron Rodgers
Drew Brees
Joe Montana
Lamar Jackson
John Elway
Dan Marino

who else? Troy Aikmen? Steve Young? Big Ben?

ill try and rank them 1-10 too

1. Brady
2. Montana
3. Rodgers
4. Manning
5. Brees
6. Mahomes
7. Dangeruss
8. Elway
9. Jackson
10. Marino

Of all the crazy things you've said on here this might top it. Sure, if he continues down this path and continues to improve maybe one day. Lets see it for more than one year though. He is not currently top anything of all time.

1. Tom Brady
2. Joe Montana
3. Peyton Manning
4. Johnny Unitas
5. Dan Marino
6. Drew Brees
7. Otto Graham
8. Roger Staubach
9. John Elway
10. Aaron Rodgers

Marino and Brees are about Dead even to me at #5. I could see giving Brees the advantage since he has some rings.

Brett Favre, Bart Starr, Troy Aikman, Steve Young, Terry Bradshaw all make it in my list before I mention Mahomes, Jackson or Wilson.
While Wilson and Mahomes and Jackson are all great, they have a ways to go until they are in the discussion of the top 10 of all time to ever play the QB position.
