Re: COVID-19
My sister in law has lupus and she hasn't had a hard time getting it. The only thing that has changed for her is prior to all of this she would be able to refill her prescription 30 days out, now she can only do it the week of.

Re: COVID-19
Any thoughts on that CDC .26% fatality rate? Hmm...sounds kinda familiar.

Re: COVID-19
I've been thinking about the death rate and total deaths a lot lately.
I've stayed away from the news for the most part this week. But every time I would turn CNN and MSNBC they have the death numbers on the right side of the screen. So I was thinking:
How the hell do we have almost 1/3 of the deaths in the whole world? I think there are two possible reasons for that, the rest of the world aren't reporting correctly or the US is inflating their COVID death numbers.

Re: COVID-19
i mean... 100k ppl are dead in the US from COVID.. thats 0.03% of the population right now.. so it cant mathematically be .26 but hey, you tried.

Potential Shortages of Hydroxychloroquine for Patients with Lupus During the Coronavirus Disease 2019 Pandemic
However, if these uses of hydroxychloroquine to prevent and treat COVID-19 cause pharmacies to develop shortages of this drug, patients with lupus will find it difficult, if not impossible, to fill their routine hydroxychloroquine prescriptions. The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists has already confirmed shortages of hydroxychloroquine. Prior to COVID-19, many patients with lupus who have low incomes or limited prescription drug coverage found it difficult to pay for a 90-day supply and thus relied on monthly refills. Without their hydroxychloroquine refills, many will experience flare-ups and may develop irreversible organ damage.7

Re: COVID-19
I love when Nick tells us he knows more than the CDC official statements and someone like the CDC is wrong just cause nick says so, no other reason.

US:
Total Population: 330,790,544
Total Deaths: 96,900
96 000 / 330,790,544 = 0.29%
dont worry tho, i sure told CDC!!!!!
imagine not being able to do grade 3 mathematics.. [insert laughing face]

You shouldn't
I put the laughy face but thought this comment was better.

Re: COVID-19
ya i know.. its fatality rate.. but how can the fatality rate be lower than the entire population of your country?
if i divide deaths by total!! population, its still higher than .26% .. so how can there be math to support it ever getting to .26 when right now at 96k deaths diviided by your entire pop of 330 mil, its .29%.. its not mathematically possible to get it lower than that
so yes, im aware what Fatality Rate means.. and it cant be lower than .29% right this second.. but dont worry this comment will bite me in the butt.

Re: COVID-19
can someone help me? im so lost right now.
Re: COVID-19
how can it be 0.26 when 0.29% right now have been confirmed dead in your country from Covid? how how how how how how how how how howThe CDC has released new guidance that states that 0.4% of people who show symptoms eventually die from COVID.
They also state that 1/3 of people never show symptoms, which then extrapolates to the death rate of COVID to be 0.26%, again per the CDC.
