I think the fear of auto-signing was due to money. I believe it was voted down because people thought that their demands would be met, even the $4M 13th round HS kid demand. If that isn't the case then let's go with it. If they are getting that money then it should be a vote.

Yeah, if you auto sign IT DOES NOT COST ANY MONEY AND THERE ARE NO BONUSES.
Before someone says what does this do to our financials it does absolutely nothing. It is a very small amount of money that gets spent that would not get spent on draft signings.

I don't recall this being mentioned as a fact during our poll. If it was, I just don't see why we didn't vote unanimously to enact this rule.

why aren't we just autosigning draft picks to avoid all this bullshit
League voted against it in January.
yea but give me a break. Now we are worried if we can tell if guy offered their pick slot or no, comp pics base on whatever, etc etc
just auto-sign them for crying out loud
Ya after this year sure i am not signing 1 3 or 4 picks. People have been doing it for years if they see the draft sucks. Now we push to change it when so many got away with it.

We have debated it for years.
If the guys that made ootp would actually make the game like real life that would be one thing, but that will never happen as they are too focused on perfect team now and could, clearly, give a shit less about simulation baseball leagues.
