Re: 2016 Presidential Election
I think Trump will probably win but I do think Biden has a better chance than Bernie of beating him.

Imagine knowing about it since November and doing nothing. Trump and his fan base are a bunch of hacks.

Re: 2016 Presidential Election
Funniest part is since the projections so early were absurdly high, going from 2.2 million projected to finishing under 100k(possibly) will be considered a huge victory by Trump. And the right will use that to show how great of a job he's done.
He saved 2 million lives!!!

Re: 2016 Presidential Election
Yep. I remember reading ppl saying they’d rather overreact and be wrong than under react and be right. But with that comes narratives and bs.
That said Trump could come out tomorrow and say his policies were based off Hitler and he’d still destroy Biden.

Re: 2016 Presidential Election
I'm not a big fan of the WHO for this one as they got it wrong from the get go with saying there was no human to human transmission. But here is what they have on their website:nick wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 1:22 pm https://thehill.com/policy/national-sec ... -spreading

So when did this start? Are we now accepting that this was going around in November?Summary
• A pneumonia of unknown cause detected in Wuhan, China was first reported to the WHO Country Office in China on 31 December 2019.
• WHO is working 24/7 to analyse data, provide advice, coordinate with partners, help countries prepare, increase supplies and manage expert networks.
• The outbreak was declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on 30 January 2020.
• The international community has asked for US$675 million to help protect states with weaker health systems as part of its Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan.
• On 11 February 2020, WHO announced a name for the new coronavirus disease: COVID-19.

Re: 2016 Presidential Election
Bodog has Trump -120 to Biden +135. What I found interesting is before the lines were taken down Andrew Cuomo had a better chance if repping the Dems over Bernie Sanders. Albeit still both insane odds at +1400 and +1600
Re: 2016 Presidential Election
They’ve had it down to November in Wuhan for a long time now.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 1:35 pmI'm not a big fan of the WHO for this one as they got it wrong from the get go with saying there was no human to human transmission. Re: 2016 Presidential Election
Biden is a horrible candidate to try to beat Trump. He is not quick enough on his feet and will get destroyed at debates once things go off topic, something Trump is pretty good at navigating.

Not being sarcastic with that either. But if the WHO site has it in December then what are we to believe?

Re: 2016 Presidential Election
You don’t have to believe it. You also blindly support trump and think he has your best interests in mind.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 1:37 pmwho is "THEY"nick wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 1:36 pmThey’ve had it down to November in Wuhan for a long time now.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 1:35 pmI'm not a big fan of the WHO for this one as they got it wrong from the get go with saying there was no human to human transmission. Re: 2016 Presidential Election
There you go again with your assumptions and defecting from the original question. I asked a simple question. If the WHO is saying it was in December (off their website right now), who are we to believe?

The WHO says what the Chinese government tells them to say, so they are one in the same.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 1:51 pmhaha, like I said. Who are we to believe? Chinese Government or the WHO?

Are they? The WHO website is reporting something different than the Chinese Government. That's why I ask, who are we to believe?shel311 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 2:00 pmThe WHO says what the Chinese government tells them to say, so they are one in the same.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 1:51 pmhaha, like I said.
