Built a nice home gym in my garage and picked up a basketball hoop the day after shit went down in the NBA. Figured we were heading for a lot of time at home and wanted to think ahead. (also grabbed 2 new iPads for the kids). Threw it down on 9.5' yesterday, if we keep these measures in place for another month, I might be dunking on 10' when I turn 41 in June!DRiccio21 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 12:30 pm holy shit, this is literally the worst thread in the history of our boards

Re: COVID-19
conman on what?
i don't give 2 shits how anyone else lives their life. if you think i do, then you misunderstood my points over the years. be miserable all you want, it doesn't bother me, i wish you wouldn't choose to live like that.
i live my life the way i want to live mine. i try to circle positives, if you want to circle negatives so be it. i am certainly not perfect. if you want to ruin your life thinking about this stuff 24/7, by all means, go for it.
just bring that same energy when it comes to cancer, when it comes to heart disease, drinking and driving, poverty, starvation, etc etc
if i need to agree with every comment you make for me to appease your ego, then sure i'm a conman. i would hope you can see the value in a friend who can agree and disagree with you.
people are choosing to ruin their mental states over this because that's what chaos does to people who live in fear. I'm doing the exact same thing you're doing (sheltering in place, i'm checking in on my folks, i'm making sure my family/friends are okay) but i'm not doing it reading the internet everyday to circle every doubt and fear and worst case scenario that is possible.

Probably more a question for Weasel but I don't think he gets on here too much.
What is the percentage of people that are intubated once they go in? Or is that damn near a 100% fact that you will get it?

Re: COVID-19
theres a concern with covid that on day 8ish you feel great and leave. Only to return 1-2 days later and it’s fatal. Boris Johnson was fine on Friday and hospitalized Sunday night.
The scary thing might be in NY with them discharging so many people. A lot will be returning in a day or two feeling worse off.

Based on Wuhan

The COVID-19 outbreak has led to 80,409 diagnosed cases and 3,012 deaths in mainland China based on the data released on March 4, 2020. Approximately 3.2% of patients with COVID-19 required intubation and invasive ventilation at some point in the disease course.
3.2% is 2573.

JFC, I really I don't know you nick, nor you me - but you just might be the most insufferable internet poster I've ever seen. This would all be hilarious if it wasn't in such a sad topic
