U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams warned Monday that the coronavirus outbreak will worsen this week and said that people across the country are not taking the threat seriously enough.
“I want America to understand this week, it's going to get bad,” Adams said in an interview on the “TODAY” show.

Re: COVID-19
Get ready for some potentially bad numbers this week.

Re: COVID-19
What’s scary about this to me is how you can be contagious and not have symptoms for up to 2 weeks. I’m not concerned about me getting sick, i’m in the lowest category for something fatal to happen, i’m way more concerned i’m going to spread it. Quit going to the gym and been taking precautions about 2 weeks ago to limit my risk. Still frustrating to see my insta filled with broads that just got back from their cruises knowing they most likely came into contact with someone who is carrying it
Re: COVID-19
Is broads making a comeback with the young kids? That is exciting if so!!!!!!

Re: COVID-19
FYI, you gotta move the decimal over to make it a %. Based on those 2 numbers, the mortality rate is 0.7%.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 11:15 am As New York tests more the death rate is dropping. They are at ~0.007% now (157 deaths and 20875 cases)
Re: COVID-19
Also gotta remember this virus usually takes usually 1-2 weeks from symptom onset till death for the most serious cases. It's not a quick death that's why everyone is saysing these next two weeks it's gonna be really bad.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 11:15 am As New York tests more the death rate is dropping. Re: COVID-19
in keeping track of the #s and the higher cases, Brazil is starting to make their climb up the confirmed list.
Re: COVID-19

Re: COVID-19
Michigan just issued a stay in place, my practice will be shutting down at the end of the day today.
My initial justification to remain open to this point has been to prevent ER visits (I do interventional chronic pain management) and the burden to the hospitals. Now it states cant continue if not critical to sustaining life.

Im firmly in the camp of using "broads", have been for years. Also a fan of 'toots' (pronounced like tootsie roll). Glad to see its gaining steam.

Cancer doesnt stop, heart attacks dont stop, all those other millions of ED visits just dont stop while this is going on. It just jumps on top of all the virus people.
These providers seriously need some kind of federal bonus or recognition after this is all over.

You like throwing out worst case scenarios so I like to offset the doom and gloom. We aren't at 4% or whatever you said it was.nick wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 12:11 pmlol as long as you know thats best case scenario (and not 1 single person dies).. then ya man its lowering.
