Re: NFL Thread
That got ugly in a hurry.
Garrett 6 (season)
Pouncey 2
Ogunjobi maybe 1, probably just a fine.

And a few games into next season if we're being fair.wdoupis wrote:Myles Garrett should be suspended for the rest of the season.
Re: NFL Thread
6 and 2 seems a little light... I'm thinking something like 10 and 4

Re: NFL Thread
I guess I am the only one that thinks anything over 1 for Pouncey is ridiculous. He was sticking up for his QB and someone I'd want on my team all day long with that kind of loyalty to team.

Re: NFL Thread
Yeah, he went off but it was right after he just saw someone try to murder his teammate. I'd lean towards being a tad lenient there.GeorgesGoons wrote:I guess I am the only one that thinks anything over 1 for Pouncey is ridiculous. You can plug and play that greatness into so many scenarios. Not even sure where it’s from but it’s gold.GeorgesGoons wrote:a true belly laugh at this one

YouTube interview show called Hot Ones. Guests do an interview while eating increasingly spicy hot wings. Its a great format, and the guy hosting is a fantastic interviewer. Highly recommended.

I am afraid to go watch it as it may ruin the ambiance of that snippet for me.Weasel wrote:YouTube interview show called Hot Ones. Guests do an interview while eating increasingly spicy hot wings. Its a great format, and the guy hosting is a fantastic interviewer. Highly recommended.

Using that logic, why suspend him at all?GeorgesGoons wrote:I guess I am the only one that thinks anything over 1 for Pouncey is ridiculous. He was sticking up for his QB and someone I'd want on my team all day long with that kind of loyalty to team.

Been with this since season 1. Really good interviews. Not your typical softball stuff and the wing stuff is great. DA Bomb is not joke.

Garrett suspended indefinitely, and will be out at least for the remainder of this season.

I would not be mad if he didn't get a suspension.DRWebs wrote:Using that logic, why suspend him at all?GeorgesGoons wrote:I guess I am the only one that thinks anything over 1 for Pouncey is ridiculous. Re: NFL Thread
As a die hard Browns fan, Garrett deserves to be out at least the rest of this season if not all of next season!
Pouncey, I would say 1 game. I know they gave him 3 and I agree with you guys that he was protecting his QB.
I honestly feel Rudolph deserves 1. The more clips I watch, he tried to pull off Garrett's helmet first and kicked him in the nuts while he was on the ground.
So I would say 1 game for him.
Again, no matter what, Garrett deserves whatever they throw at him. There is simply no place for what he did in the sport!

Re: NFL Thread
I have seen a lot of people saying Rudolph should be suspended too and even some "reporters" saying he is not because of white privilege, geez. Personally I don't see it. Yeah he was not totally innocent but what he did is the kind of late stuff you see all the time and happens in every game. If it was just that and shoving then it is a non story. Even if Garrett stopped after ripping off his helmet we are already done with this but Myles totally losing his fucking mind is the punishable offense.
I would be fine if Rudolph got a game but I personally do not think he should be suspended.

Re: NFL Thread
They got it about right. A little harsh on pouncey. Should have been a small fine for Rudolph. Otherwise I’d say they did a solid job

Football tweet of the day:
By suspending Mason Rudolph zero games, the NFL has imposed the harshest possible penalty on the Steelers.
