I do a ton of these things and this is by far the easiest criteria I have ever heard of.
You can use a team twice in a row. And you'd be surprised how may have gone out. KC losing their first game and Rams losing to TB knocked out 80 or so people. We still have 40 or so.

It's been going on for over 5 years. Week 13 - 14 is usually when you get down to the top 10. And people tend to split when it gets down to 5, this year we are over $1300 in the pool.

I'm not a huge better. I don't normally do pools over $20. I don't pay to play fantasy sports either.
