What percentage of crayons do you think die of natural causes? Has to be less than 1%, right?

I officially feel old now.
My boy was officially accepted into the University Nebraska at Omaha Aviation program. This has been a dream of his since he was 5 or so when his grandpa gave him his flight simulator.

especially with the upcoming shortages of pilots all across the globe. China will have their in the next year or two and the US should see their shortage for the next 10 years or so. The boy did his research when he was around 11 and told us this.DRWebs wrote:Great path for him, more kids should explore the fieldGeorgesGoons wrote:I officially feel old now.

Re: Random Discussions
UNO actually has one of the better programs out there. And they are teamed up with Southwest Airlines so all he needs is 1000 hours to get hired on instead of the 1500 if you graduate from another school (3 others are partnered with Southwest). They also have a program where he can be hired with Jet Lynx (1st class charter plane where it's 10k just to be eligible for a flight) at 700 hours starting above $80k. Not bad with less than 25k in student debt when all said and done. But we are working to get it to be nothing as soon as he graduatesSeeitsaveit13 wrote:He could go to Embry Riddle and stay with uncle AJ!GeorgesGoons wrote:especially with the upcoming shortages of pilots all across the globe. No shit! To his credit he said he tried it a couple of times a couple of months ago. And his drug test shows that he hadn't done it for a couple of weeks at least plus I told him he is doing random tests and if he pops hot I'm telling all of his friends parents to test their kids as wellcougnix wrote: ]
