Those were for the Pro which is a big step up from the Air line and these are newer versus a couple years from yours if I remember.

I have an older MacBook Pro from the school I used to work at, definitely nice laptops.
It is probably 7 years old now and still running strong for what I need it for.
You can get a decent Lenovo or Asus laptop for a few hundred though that should last you 4-5 years.
In reality, if the apple lasts twice as long, you are about even in the end. (2 windows laptops to equal 1 apple in terms of years)
I know Randall has had more than 2, I am saying typically, I would guess it is closer to 2 for 1.

Worth is subjective to need.

The debate is really whether you use him as a good CF and a very average pitcher. Or do you utilize him as one of the best players in the game at CF only? To me he's worth 24 million as an elite CF. Than use him as an above average CF that has to miss a bunch of games and an average pitcher. To me that's not worth 24 mil a year, that's all!Graywolf357 wrote:Having a lunch debate with Bowie

He was broken a long time ago when kdog got bad advice from Billy.
There was no going back from that.

My needs are I have to use him like this I need pitching help would I like to start him in CF day in and out yes. Would he be better maybe. In the end to me using him like this he is like having 2 55 Pot guys in one guy. I still think he is well worth 20 million right now. Maybe not in 5 years.SmittyRocks7 wrote:The debate is really whether you use him as a good CF and a very average pitcher. Or do you utilize him as one of the best players in the game at CF only? We have a DH, but I'm guessing you can still add your pitcher to that spot as a hitter, right? So yea, you would lose him as a DH for 30 or so games a year. At 4+ ERA, that may not be worth it. But as Corey stated, old Sexton and his ratings should have been a no brainer to have him pitch and hit provided he wasn't continually getting injured as a pitcher.

"Allegedly" billy advised kdog not to use him as a pitcher at all and only play him in CF completely wasting his talents during a time where many believed ATL needed him most to do both.
He only played CF for many years and did very well but his talents were wasted in ways he could have done even better and maybe propel ATL even higher.

PO is still relatively 'new' being back on the scene....but it doesn't seem like there are as many 75-80 rated guys as there used to be.
it also seems like guys rated 45-55 can pretty easily put up 25-90 type numbers too

More like 60 games. Nieto usually gets a day off after pitching, even with me using the 7 day lineups. Since I brought up Arccher though I haven't had to use him in the field.shel311 wrote:Why does he have to miss a bunch of games?SmittyRocks7 wrote:Than use him as an above average CF that has to miss a bunch of games and an average pitcher.

Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
Exactly... Sexton is 5-24 after games he starts so he might as well sit. And he's 0 for his last 14 in games after a start as fatigue builds. I've beaten him up enough for one day, my team is shitty so I have nothing better to do!

Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
I stand by it, I would not have pitched Sexton at all even when he came up. He was an elite, top 3 player at one of the two most valuable positions. Play him in CF and let him be a monster. I think its a no brainer now that he should not be pitching

Was there an Atlanta title window that I missed out on? Even higher than what lolCnasty wrote:"and maybe propel ATL even higher.
Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
Yeah, when you left the pot # was insane and especially for SPs. I think in 19 they kinda fixed it to make it more balanced but it may have been 20. I do not complement them a lot (the developers) but this was something they did pretty well on for the most partajalves wrote:PO is still relatively 'new' being back on the scene....but it doesn't seem like there are as many 75-80 rated guys as there used to be.

He made the playoffs almost 3 years in a row. None of which Sexton pitched in.wdoupis wrote:Was there an Atlanta title window that I missed out on? Even higher than what lolCnasty wrote:"and maybe propel ATL even higher.
And as we know you make the playoffs with an ace, anything can happen especially with a down Boston/Richmond at that time.
So basically his only shot ever and only playoff appearances and Sexton didn't take the mound once which he should have been a key arm in that rotation.
