This is my nightmare!!!

Funny cause his ratings are so absurdly good/better than any current SP, part of me wondered if he even needed that 3rd pitch to be a good SP. It's early, so we'll see.

I am as guilty of this as anyone but seems silly that we all said he can’t start because he just has 2 pitches. Guess it doesn’t matter if the pitches are elite and he is that good. May have to change my philosophy there

This Flores stuff makes me want to try Eduardo Hernandez out as a SP but my pen is so lethal with him and Long. I started him for a long time in the minors

Game Log:
v Bowie (22-23)
v Houston (23-22)
@ Edmonton (22-23)
@ Cincinnati (19-26)
v Washington (28-17) - Loss
@ Chicago (17-27)
@ Montreal (13-31)
v Port Orange (24-21)

hes been great but id wait til he faces tough teams before worrying about Flores. As of right now theres .... 9? (Bos, Ne, Moose, Phi, Rich, RI, WF, Wash, SF) who are legit teams this yr and hes played 1 and lost.

Nick conveniently loves to leave out information in his analysis. In that one game he lost vs. Nick's elite team list he went 6.2 and gave up one run. You can minimize it however you want but if he was on your team, you'd be thrilled.

How did he pitch in that loss?

And also, W/L for each team isn't as relevant as how good each team is at hitting, so I'm not sure your post provided any insight.

I loved that guy since I drafted him and have tried so many times to get him back, even before my team became this but Mike would not budge. He’s a stud

As terrible as the return was for Luis Perez this Dan Page deal is fucking terrible. The two Ramirez's will never ever be remotely close to ML starters, the reliever is a dime a dozen AND he is taking back Sellers who was there for $1.... WTF you doing over there in Youngstown?

if you were cash strapped would you sell dan page (a solid but not spectacular 1B who is 30) for $25 million? Dude is a 2 WAR player which is average from what i can understand between the bickering on this board. The deal gets Youngstown under luxury tax threshold. it is huge.

the easiest way to screw yourself into a downward spiral of a financial shitstorm is to be a cellar team AND pay luxury. That is how someone can suck for decades. You need to have a cash surplus so that when you have the opportunity to compete you can buy what you need to compensate.
