Random Question- I have a player that was on a minor league roster, who now appears on my spring training roster ... I try to put him back to AA ... and it is telling me I need to put him on waivers before demoting. Any way I can correct that?

Is he on your 40 man roster and also out of options?

he is out of options. Every ST, every player on your 40 man automatically gets placed on your ST roster. To demote him you must waive him and give other teams the option of putting him on their rosters.

This is done to prevent guys from stashing players in the minors. First rule 5 to get them on the 40 man, then 3 option years after that. You generally have control of a player until he is 26ish before you have to keep him on your majors.

Also, this might be off topic, but how do you guys keep track of the boards? Do you just leave the board open on your browser all day? Do you guys use an RSS feed or something? I just seem to never think to look at the board throughout the day and wasn't sure if some of you guys did something else to keep an eye on board activity throughout the day.

For quite a few of us, we've been around these boards since 2003, 15 or so years. Others probably still in the 10 year range.

It's just 2nd nature for us at this point to check the boards 100 times a day.

1 tip though, from the homepage of the boards, click on unread posts, and it'll only show you posts you haven't clicked on yet.

Once you do click on Unread posts, and you have your list, Any that you want to read, click the little orange box just to the left of the thread title. It takes you to the first unread post you have in that thread.

Working on morning sim now. Everyone needs to update to the newest version of OOTP19 IMMEDIATELY. I would recommend doing this BEFORE you download the file and definitely before you export
