Son has his first coach pitch baseball game tomorrow. Yes we have already graduated from tee ball.

2 things that have me laughing already at Texas sports and the competitive nature of it for a 6 year old coach pitch league:

1. The commissioner had to send a very long, detailed email about "walk up songs" and how they were abused last year and parents/coaches didnt use discretion or common sense. It is being voted on for removing next season.
2. They have just completed a 5 million dollar field turf project removing grass and installing that football field like rubber tire fielding in. A separate looooong email about gum chewing, sunflower seeds, and you will be banished from the league.
3. No parents at the fence. "Last year we had quite a few incidents of coaches and parents getting into conflicts, we aren't having that this year".

Needless to say, I am pretty damn excited to see how this all plays out.

The coach of his tee ball team asked if I was interested in a travel team after our season last year. I looked at him like, seriously? After tee ball?

Granted he is the tallest and has a rocket for an arm but he would rather play Switch then baseball at this point.
