Job hunting sucks!
Got a sit down with the GM at Bobcat to see if they have any positions I can fill at 10am this morning.

I love this song but it has the most fucked up lyrics. Anything bolded is fucked
[Chorus]
Young girl
Get out of my mind
My love for you is way out of line
Better run, girl
You're much too young, girl
[Verse 1]
With all the charms of a woman
You've kept the secret of your youth
You led me to believe you're old enough
To give me Love
And now it hurts to know the truth
[Verse 2]
Beneath your perfume and make-up
You're just a baby in disguise
And though you know that it's wrong to be
Alone with me
That come on look is in your eyes
[Verse 3]
So hurry home to your mama
I'm sure she wonders where you are
Get out of here before I have the time
To change my mind
Cause I'm afraid we'll go too far

Re: Random Discussions
While we are on music, Black Crowes are my favorite band. They are no more but the lead singer is firing up an new band with some old members. ( his brother did the same last year with a better group of alumni). Taking my kids to see the new band in April. Curious to see if shel would take his boys to a 311 show. My oldest likes them but just wants to go to eat down in Nashville. Youngest is my rocker and did a lip sync to Crowes for the talent show in kindergarten, he is pumped. Proud daddy moment.

Absolutely. My 1 kid absolutely loves 311 and is constantly asking to go to a concert.BFiVL wrote:Curious to see if shel would take his boys to a 311 show
Only reason i haven't is they usually tour in the summer, and my boys are away with their grandparents in the summer. Funny thing is he probably wouldn't enjoy it that much as he only likes the newer songs, so he wouldn't even know 90% of the songs at a concert.

I use Dollar Shave Club. The razors are good. The Shave Butter is great. I highly recommend using it.GeorgesGoons wrote:For you that shave
What kind of blades do you use?
I use Sensor Excel but getting pretty tired of paying $30 for 10 blades. I don't like razors that have more than 2 blades on it.
Anyone have experience with Dollar Shave Club? How are the razors?
Harry's.com is ruled out because they only have 5 blade razors.

Like $6 every other month for their mid level and I shave while in the shower, so it is a wet shave, fantastic. Never had an issue and You get like 4 blades per month if you want. I delay mine and have them every other month.
I am actually cancelling my account for now just because I don't go through the blades fast enough. Can cancel and re-sign up without any penalty at any time.

Was thinking of getting into HVAC. But I have an interview with the state DMV to be a drivers license examiner on Wednesday. Would rather get in with the state than some private company. I have to put in 5% into a retirement account and they match at 156%

Re: Random Discussions
May be better where you are, but I would think I'd hate being a driver's license examiner out here near LA. The daily level of tension and stress would be off the charts!
Re: Random Discussions
you need to avoid any major union job. You are just getting into it and are older. union jobs are mostly based on seniority and you will never have it.GeorgesGoons wrote:That's awesome!nick wrote:final week of this program thank god. sitting at a 88%. one final project (School book cabinet thingy) and doneso. I use the pre shave oil and the shave butter. not only has it saved me money, but its a much better shave that I got with the 4 and 5 blade razors out there.
