i actually called that Rigo was going to quit in the 3rd. i was sitting with a buddy and you could just tell he was confused and frustrated as hell. he started pretending to touch gloves to be sportsmanlike then would hit him low or late or in back of the head almost like he was trying to get a point taken or a DQ. Loma is so slippery and footwork so incredible he couldn't even get him in a clinch to slow him down. It was a Tyson bite the ear off type breakdown from a previously unbreakable fighter who found his kryptonite for the first time. super impressive to see even if the fight was totally lopsided and no knockdowns.

After Canelo pulled out, GGG said he still wanted to keep the 5 May fight date. Not sure why they rolled a guy out who hasn't fought in 2 years.

Dude has only fought 12 pro fights, and he's already the champ in 3 different weight classes. De la Hoya was previously the quickest to 3 weight class titles in 22 fights.
