Re: NFL Thread
I don't get that one. Dude seems like a really good back running behind a pretty shitty line, despite that shitty line being full of 1st rounders.ajalves wrote:WTF are the Dolphins doing?
Ajayi to the Eagles for a 4th? a 4th????
Jarvis Landry is on the block as well, but I do get that one. He's going to likely want elite #1 WR type money, and I don't think he's worth it.

Re: NFL Thread
Holdup, Jimmy Garropollo went for a 2nd rounder, but word is that the botched Cleveland deal was going to be a 2nd a 3rd for McCarron? Wtf!
Cleveland actually won by screwing up.

Not being a homer, I swear, but how so? Both a have limited real game experience but numbers for them are near identical.

Even if I concede they're near identical, that still proves my point, no?BFiVL wrote:shel311 wrote:Holdup, Jimmy Garropollo went for a 2nd rounder, but word is that the botched Cleveland deal was going to be a 2nd a 3rd for McCarron? Wtf!

But that being said, for 2 years now, Jimmy G has been the talk around the league as the big backup QB that everyone wanted. I haven't heard of any real interest in McCarron, so it was certainly surprising to hear McCarron would have possibly had more value than Jimmy G.
Re: NFL Thread
Jimmy G has been 1a back up for sure for trade talks but AJ was 1B. Been mentioned for last two years since he stepped in late season in 15 for dalton and played well. 2nd or 3rd for him isn’t that far off.shel311 wrote:Even if I concede they're near identical, that still proves my point, no?BFiVL wrote:shel311 wrote:Holdup, Jimmy Garropollo went for a 2nd rounder, but word is that the botched Cleveland deal was going to be a 2nd a 3rd for McCarron? Another thing while everyone crowns the Patriots for getting a 2nd for Jimmy G...lots of talk I've seen said the rumors in the offseason were that CLE offered the same 2nd/3rd for Jimmy G and NE turned it down.

Who is back up now for pats since they traded both back ups?

Most expect SF to release Hoyer and him sign with Pats as backup

Yea, they technically don't have any backup at all but Hoyer seems to be the route they're going.

Broncos benching Siemian and going with Osweiler!!
As good as the Broncos defense is, this seems to be like the most obvious landing place for Kaepernick. That the Broncos would prefer to go with Osweiler is kinda silly IMO.

Re: NFL Thread
Siemian has regressed so badly.
Not that he was ever amazing and fantastic but he seemed serviceable. This reeks of desperation and Vance is way in over his head in this position. He looks a little lost in his press conferences and side line demeanor.
Its almost like he is trying too hard to be a Mike Tomlin type coach but failing miserably.
That D is so good they are just being wasted out there.
But thanks for the $450 on Monday Trevor!!!!
