avoid the early 20s pitfalls of beer, sports and girls on your walls. If you want it to look decent go on pinterest and get ideas. vintage travel/destination posters that are actually framed (cheap at michaels) will make it look nice. Stick to one color scheme that is neutral, grey is nice. Remember to have minimum 4 pillows for your bed and 2 extra blackets around the house at all times for whenever you have a girl over. They will always need extra blackets/throws.qazhby wrote:anyone got ideas for cool shit I should put in my apartment?

Honestly though I don't think I would have survived my college apartment living stage without one of these. Unless you are one of those ramen 6 times a week guys but you're better than that!!
Hell I use mine about 2-3 times a week now!

We just reached peak obstruction and were on the border of the 50 and 75% obstruction range.
I went outside for it, I didn't look directly at the sun, but it certainly was as bright as it always is and didn't even seem to put any dent in that brightness.
I'm unimpressed.

About 50-100 were at the front of the hospital and a ton of people had the glasses.
It was pretty awesome to see through the glasses which were almost completely black.

I went out to "inspect the cross country course" and checked it out. We had 89.9% coverage. Honestly, I was underwhelmed.

Re: Random Discussions
Here in Oregon we had a 99.9% coverage and it was pretty cool. It was neat how it slowly got dark and how quickly everything lit back up. Not bad for my first day in the states in a while

Broken system when I was in school...
Get after school detention... haha, nope. Don't show up.
Get Saturday school... hahaha, if I'm not staying for detention, there's no chance I'm going to Saturday school.
Get suspended for 3 days. Appreciate it.
They eventually got smart and just gave me in-school suspensions. When we had my daughter's orientation last week I showed my wife where my "office" was.

Re: Random Discussions
We use an out of school suspension program where the parents have to take the kids to a suspension school. They must be signed in and out by a parent and if they don't show then they are declared truant and the police get involved.

People that went out without the glasses and expected something really cool were idiots.Cnasty wrote:About 50-100 were at the front of the hospital and a ton of people had the glasses.

Unless you were in a path of totality, it would look fairly normal without them.
With the glasses, pretty cool stuff.
