Trump fumes on Twitter after ex-Homeland Security chief testifies about Russian cyberattacks

Title is completely true... but probably not in the way that you'd expect it to be. This is the kind of article that ends up getting linked without people reading it, only to find out that what they thought was in it is the exact opposite. Just found it funny this morning. :-)

Travel Ban partially reinstated until Oct. hearing, which basically acts like a refugee ban. Then CNN has to retract a "big" story last night and 3 people involved end up "resigning." I'm sure the president's Twitter should be a real treat today. Rabble, rabble, Fake News, yuuuugggeee!

I feel like a social media battle between Lavar Ball and Trump would be highly entertaining.

While opinions on O'Keefe vary wildly, it's hard to argue with the words directly out of the producer's mouth...

Keep in mind, a empanelling a grand jury is an early step in a criminal prosecution, as they can be used to solicit testimony, issue subpoenas, and ultimately, reach indictments. This does not mean that anyone is necessarily going to go to jail. What it does mean, however, is that an elite team of legal minds believe there is a strong chance that someone has broken the law.

Trump made some comment about North Korea and stocks apparently started to drop.

I still love that he can't coherently speak and think at the same time, so he just ends up repeating himself and adding little bits.

His quote today (from what I can find) was:
"North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States," Trump told reporters, speaking slowly and deliberately with his arms crossed in front of him. "They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen. He has been very threatening ... and as I said they will be met with fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before."
Fire and Fury!

No, wait, Fire, Fury, and Power!

If we try any pre-emptive first strike... it was nice knowing you all because I assume California will be blown into the ocean.

There won't be any preemptive strike on NK. The US and more importantly South Korea, China and Japan do not want a war there. It would create economic hardships on the whole region. It would be the Great Depression of the far east after the north is brought to heel.

Hallie Jackson‏Verified account
@HallieJackson

The pool reporters with @POTUS shouted questions on white nationalists, whether this is terror, etc. No response.

Did Trump really just defend the Nazis today in that press conference?

Is this real life?

From what I gather, he blamed both for the violence, which is separate from the one rogue dude going nutso with his car to run over people.

I think it's fair to say the violence, in general, was the fault of both sides.

Unless he said something that I missed, which obviously can't be ruled out.

Defend may be a stretch, the "Washington owned slaves line" was tacky as hell but par for course with him. However he did not condemn which needed to be done.
