I look at it 3 ways...
Best Hitter I've Ever Seen: Probably Bonds
Smoothest Swing: Griffey Jr.
My Favorite Hitter to Watch: Vlad Guerrero

Re: MLB 2017 Thread
It's late, long day. Thinking there might be someone out there I'm not remembering. I'm positive on the other 2 though.
As for Trout... statistically... he's been incredible. But he has to play another 15yrs to match Bonds' longevity. He also has to pickup the pace on Runs, HR, and RBI to touch the counting stats. As for best hitter, tough to make a case for him considering he already has more than 50% of Bonds' career strikeouts and only 20% of his walks.

Re: MLB 2017 Thread
My favorites to watch in my lifetime:
Barry Bonds - bat speed was unreal on how he could turn on that inside pitch
Frank Thomas - Probably one of the best Right handed hitters of all time
Ken Griffey Jr. - Effortless swing, made everything look easy.

I think he was so overcome with rage and completely lost control mid throw and it went absolutely wild.

This.
Good little scrap tho.
If you watch the fight in SLO Mo on the Giants network Samardzija and Morse get it worse than anyone else as they slam heads.
Buster Posey sure enjoyed the fight lol
