Kerry Hansen was released by Los Angeles and my fan interest decreases "alot!" What is up with that? How do we fix this? I was at 88 interest after releasing some of my players yesterday (Will Childs mainly) and now I am at 81 after Hansen was released.

As long as I can remember the fan interest decreases never hit until the player signed with another team...not a fan of it myself either

Happened to Wasted when Jack Wolfe left my team. He won a world series after that. Maybe that's how you can get your fan interest back up.

Preliminary timeline into Opening Day

Monday-5/22-11/20-Arbitration continues
Tuesday-5/23-11/30-10 day sim to take us through arbitration hearings and FA filing
Wednesday-5/24-12/7-Free agency continues
Thursday-5/25-12/14--Hall of fame voting opens on 12/8
Friday-5/26-12/21-Winter meetings start
Saturday-5/27-12/30-9 day sim to get us to day of Rule 5 draft and Rule 5 draft pool
Sunday-5/28-1/6-Rule 5 completed, next sim begins 14 day sims until start of Spring Training
Monday-5/29-1/20-14 day sims have began-Waivers and DFA set to 28 days---HOF results released
Tuesday-5/30-2/3
Wednesday-5/31-2/17-Preseason begins 2/8
Thursday-6/1-3/7--Spring Training Begins-Waivers and DFA back to 14 days-Injuries set to very low
Friday-6/2-3/16-9 day sim to get us back to Mondays

I can't remember but are we moving to '18 after this season?

No we usually skip a version so we will be going to '19 when it comes out.

Previously most felt it was too pricey to keep up each year and takes multiple seasons to get used to a version.

Definitely something we can review though if most feel that's an old rule and not to continue our format just because we always have.
