Brock and Stevens both back within a week or so.
Things are going to get even more interesting in that wildcard race.

It's just Stevens now... Brock is a mediocre OF... Gotta stop holding onto the past!!!Cnasty wrote:Brock and Stevens both back within a week or so.

Nori's out there looking like 2045 Mori, he may push to top that 9.5 WAR season he had with Boston.

That's fine, carve away. It'll just lead to a 2-4 post season record. Boston has to wait another 100+ yearsCnasty wrote:Went 7-0 this sim and only allowed 4 runs the entire week including 4 shutouts.
Pitchers are hitting their stride finally?
Looking to carve up some Beef this sim.

The once debacled franchise with the likes of the Concordia Tornadoes, Atlanta Aliens, Atlanta Rail Hawks, Pittsburgh Falcons, and the Oklahoma Mustangs.
Dave has turned the franchise into a winner and one of the more consistent powerhouses in the NDL as a newbie.
Well done man.

I just noticed that Gamboa's contract could void as early as the end of 2048, if he doesn't get 525 plate appearances. Peay's franchise plan could hang in the balance with 1 Gamboa injury next season!!!

Might be a blessing in disguise if he continues to decline in ratings ever so slightly.

Thanks man. Yeah when I took over it was kind of crazy how many identity changes this franchise went through. So when I branded the team as the Toronto Aces I vowed never to re-brand again. I wanted this franchise to have an identity with my stamp on it. The team I took over was loaded with prospects and was ready to compete, so I was lucky in that sense, but I knew it was only a matter of time before I was gonna have to rebuild the team to be my own. I feel like the current run that I've had is the team I envisioned putting together from the beginning. I had to get pretty lucky but thankfully it all came together. My run is bound to end here sometime very soon and I'll probably have to be bad for a year or two while George has his chance to take over the division. But it won't be long before I'm back.....if I go away at all.

I'm sure there is another 10 year rebuild coming up for the Beef. Especially with Boggs Jr. running the show. He wants me to get down to $110M, down $10M from current payroll. He's an asshole just like his dad!Davie_Leggz wrote:Aww shucks!Cnasty wrote:The once debacled franchise with the likes of the Concordia Tornadoes, Atlanta Aliens, Atlanta Rail Hawks, Pittsburgh Falcons, and the Oklahoma Mustangs.

I am thinking we change the DL length to match the MLB this offseason from 14 days to 10.

If we sim 7 days at a time would it really matter?

With 7 day lineups, yes, very much soWasted Memory wrote:Cnasty wrote:I am thinking we change the DL length to match the MLB this offseason from 14 days to 10.

Yes, because the game makes your 1st day on the DL the date you were injured.Wasted Memory wrote:Cnasty wrote:I am thinking we change the DL length to match the MLB this offseason from 14 days to 10.

Re: 2047 Season Thread-Oh Canada!
Why wait till next season to do this? I am sure it would overwhelmingly get passed, so do what's right for the league to get it online with the MLB
