Richmond 60 mil -- (78mil) to (23mil)
Boston 60 mil -- (28mil) to 35mil
Omaha 25 mil -- (43mil) to (3mil)
Tampa 12 mil -- (3mil) to 24 mil

All these teams operated at a loss, which appears to be the common factor. I just amplified this because of my high payroll last season.
My total revenue was greater than total expenses, so don't think that had much to do with my account.

According to the website your end of year balance was ($3,301,670). So...you're wrong

AKA Expenses were greater than revenue for a Net Operating loss of the amount above

-17mil cash means he had profit of 14mil if he finished at -3mil, I'd imagine.

Maybe this has been voted down before but why not just have a hard salary cap?

I get you're doing assets vs liabilities. But strictly looking at revenues vs expenses, he had a net profit. Cash isn't revenues.

This stuff is over my head. Not sure where revenue sharing or cash comes in. I'll look this evening in game on the accounting page and see what the owner gave or took

Cash is either obtained in trades or from your net profit the previous season.

but if you have negative cash at the end of the year....that is going to effect your operating income

I owe you 10 dollars.

I made 5 dollars in revenue.

My expenses were 2 dollars.

I made a 3 dollar profit, but I still owe 10 dollars. So really I end with 7 dollars owed.

Well it looks like your owner paid for future expenses with your operating profit so maybe not.

Of course.

I'm saying Duster specifically said his revenues were higher than his expenses, which was correct.

theres a difference in being 200m in the hole and constantly taking on bad contracts while in the hole, and having a 400m budget cause youre cincy and had 100+ wins, 20 straight seasons. I know you like to argue but I would hope even you would understand the diff no?
