I love the guy but he also thinks our offseason is too fast so that is a deal breaker #nevercommissioner

So he was making a draft history for the start of the league going thru every name and just noticed random dudes were FAs and gave em chances. and you guys all branded him a cheater, and kicked him from the league he started, when im pretty sure he came forward and said he did it, and was not cheating and def wouldnt of done it (and stopped when figured out what was happening), but he was a cheater.

But THIS SHIT, is "well theres no rule"

fuck you

Not true. Not even close. He was using a menu outside of the normal realm of the game to access an overall database of the players. These players did NOT show up under any normal FA menu.

I understand he's your boy, but he outright cheated and then tried to defend it by saying it was fair game because "anyone" could do it. Even though it was clearly not an intended function of the game.

Get the fuck over it.

What about salary caps on the bottom of the spectrum getting revenue sharing and never being active in FA?

if we want to put in a salary floor or whatever, then cool. I don't think penalizing guys for not going after FAs is a good idea though.

Agreed. For several seasons I had absolutely no money for FA's mostly due to my owner's budget restrictions. I know I wasn't the only one in this situation. You can't punish people for things they have no control over. We've let Nick stay here for years despite his many faults.

I am not saying put a penalty on FA I am saying we should have a floor cap too so teams don't ride out 20-30 mil payrolls and being totally inactive during that time. I believe the point of revenue sharing is to get teams with low payrolls to be more active, I understand there are teams that can't afford anything but you have teams like Indy who have been lowers payrolls for a season then active in FA for a few seasons while they build up there team.

What do you do with the team with a $30mil payroll and no money for free agents or not enough money to reach the floor?

My thing is I think we need people to be more active in the league. Exporting everyday doesn't mean you are necessarily active. Put up some trade blocks, participate in the boards. If you are not going to do that what is the point of being in the league? There are plenty of boring leagues you can just export in.
