Always fascinating to watch the battles for these international free agents. Carlos Lopez, Mario Gomez, and Alberto Oliveira all got paid handsomely so how high will Juan Carlos Gamboa and Norberto Gonzalez go?

Norberto being a closer I believe limits him to a handful of teams. Gamboa could easily be the slightly older Muliro. Seeing the year Muliro had last season tells me Gamboa will get a fat deal

Seeing as you got the kiss of death "favors offer" line, you and everyone else would be foolish to stand pat around 12M. I'm fairly confident that was your offer last sim and I'd say 13.5 is the average offer this sim and maybe someone will go for 15

i knew i was getting the Favor Offer of Doom so im screwed. If I make the offer better its just another wasted week.. if i stay put i'll probably lose out on him cause i think were going to 2 week sims.

If he's anywhere near as good as Oliveira, he isn't imo, we are seeing a nice trend of big potential IFA bats hit the market lately versus just pitchers that we are used to.

Puts all of your Rule 5 guys in one easy list for protecting them.
