And no Wade, the guy that actually put the Big 3 together, while Riles got the credit.DRiccio21 wrote:you forgot 'no picks'

Riles also got Shaq and made Wade who he became so I'd say Riles deserves most of the credit of bringing a winner to Miami.shel311 wrote:And no Wade, the guy that actually put the Big 3 together, while Riles got the credit.DRiccio21 wrote:you forgot 'no picks'

I think Wade would have done just fine with or without him.Cnasty wrote:and made Wade who he became
Jason Bateman gif twice in 1 hour!!Cnasty wrote:so I'd say Riles deserves most of the credit of bringing a winner to Miami.
Wade deserves most of the credit, definitely more than Riley. Riley wanted to draft Chris Kaman over Wade and had to be convinced to go with Wade by the others on staff.

Now obviously, I'm not saying Riley gets no credit(and I'm joking with the Kaman thing...though it is actually true lol), but Wade, by far, is most responsible for everything Miami has done since he got there.

It's preseason and all but...
The Warriors led the Clippers last night after 3 quarters 102-51.

I watched a bit and it is preseason and all. But that looked like an NBA team against a talented High School team.

They were up by 20+ early in the second quarter. That's with Curry only putting up 7 points at half, timing was obviously an issue on breaks and lobs, and a few blunders on switches on D. Hope they can stay healthy. Its going to be fun to watch.
Re: NBA 2016-2017 Thread
the good thing about the NBA is you don't really have ot watch the sport til April. and even then you can probably skip til May.

how crazy is it that each team will play 82 games but we already know Cavs-Warriors will be the finals... fun..

MLB and NBA play way too many regular season games in the modern era of sports.

Sorry, Chris Bosh - stopping playing basketball because you might die from blood clots if you don't is not the same as "giving up". And even if your kids are too young now to understand that (no idea how old they are) they won't be too young later to appreciate that you walked away from the game when you still could spend the rest of your life being their dad.

He is being a pretty dramatic cry baby about this and it is pretty surprising considering he is going to be paid big time still.dakshdar wrote:http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/1777 ... nt-give-up

He is saying things like career suicide and being disrespected.
Bitch, your ass is getting paid AND you aren't even playing to be worth that money unless you retire which we know you aren't going to do.
Miami would gladly have your expensive ass playing and earning that money versus it being locked up in an extravagant buyout which would crush the Heat.
Get over yourself buddy and consider it a blessing in disguise it was caught and your ass can still be alive to recognize it was caught versus playing again.

That was probably the most passionate of the 48,548 posts Corey has made.
Didn't see that coming.
