Also, when guys get waived and they refused to be demoted we need to be releasing these guys as we shouldn't be putting them back in AAA manually for anyone.

You are proposing that you would release him, however, he is a guy I want to keep on my team, so if I knew ahead of time that he would not accept being demoted, I would maybe keep him on my ML and demote someone else, but since he is out of option years, I would not know this till we get in this situation....

ya waive him. not waive and designate. waiving puts him on waivers, if he clears then you can demote him to your hearts content and not go through that crap.

You are but we also know that those guys in those situations with no options will refuse to be demoted.

Safe bet is not to demote guys with no options but also I understand that we won't know if they "refuse to be demoted" prior to so not sure how to handle that piece.

Are contracts handled differently on '17 with regards to guys that are waived?

Example from my team is John Roberts(Antonio Lugo as well.) In 2040, I signed Roberts to a 4 year/$28million contract. At some point either last season or maybe early in this season I waived/DFA'ed him but no one picked him up, so he went down to AAA, and I eventually called him up. Looking at his player page as well as my salaries page in game, he shows as having a contract of $480k. So what happened to the original 4/28 deal?

If it's handled right, you paid it. Sort of what the Rockies did with Reyes this year. Uncertain if the game handles it right.

much like Bill Belichick came from the schooling of Parcells, I learned most of my stuff through Trendon/Reign so there's no reason for me not to maintain this til I lose interest. At that point i'll retire

It is not a good plan for immersion though.

I am personally excited to see who will win the most games for the Minutemen...will it me Jamison, White, Reese, Quintana or will Robbins come back from a rough start? Also I think Turner is still leading the league in stolen bases after being out for 4+ weeks. Nice work!
