2040 Season Thread-Feeling Crabby?

Good info Corey.
I am in another league that just upgraded to 17 for our current season and as you said, all the little things add up and end up being a very enjoyable experience.
And they did not have to change any settings and it seems very good so far.
I don't believe they simmed a few seasons though even though I recommended it.

It is smart to do that and use our rollover spreadsheets and such to compare to make sure nothing will get out of whack a few seasons into it.

Awesome job so far and I look forward to seeing the NDL league on 17.

There is a separate accounting page in the front office.
It's very clean, easier to segregate some of the details, and I think it will help some of the knuckleheads that don't know how to manage their finances manage a tad better.

Great addition IMO.

Also, there are goals assigned by the owner.
Mine for example:
Achieve a winning record, target year xxxx
Extend your player: XXXX, Targer year xxxx
Acquire a player: Hometown player is the goal
Long term: build a championship team, xxxx

It also tracks progress. Pretty cool addition and will see how it affects budget, happiness, and other factors possibly.

Saw those, all very cool as well... For the OCD type, you can have multiple shortlists (ie 2040 Draft, 2040 IFA, 2040 FA, etc) which I feel can be useful

I'm probably just jealous cause my team sucks but I'm already kind of tired of so many guys having a blue rating. Kind of a bummer.

Those have always been mostly reserved for the elite guys, now half the league minus Sheltown has guys with 80 overall.

Then a bunch of guys have bad scouts. Every person I've spoken to days there's way more highly rated players, I imagine your scout says the same.
