2041 Season Thread-Viva Las Vegas!!

i actually like 5 day sims during the season, but 7 days during the offseason.... soooooo long.

Going to make a possibly unpopular decision here but feel it's the best.

NO SIM THIS WEEKEND.

I want to be sure we have as many guys up and on the game as possible, have some time to poke around and get acclimated before we get back into the normal flow of things everyday.

New file and sim will be available bright and early Monday morning.

I am unsure why some are having that issue and some are not. Does it matter if you purchased on Steam or something?

You're system is downloading and immediately opening the file in a document format. When you download, look for a 'save as' option... don't open it.

I am also getting an error that says the world.dat file is old. I'm unable to open the league

yeah, you have a program associated with a .dat file to open those types of files, so it is trying to open it instead of save it.

The other issue, I have no idea.
I have not set my own up yet.

If you still have '15 loaded, you can just copy and paste the old accountsdata_gms.dat file from the settings folder from '15...thats what i did and it allowed me to export in '17..i was getting that same jumbled up stuff you are getting when i click on the file. There is no option to "save as" or "save"...

Totally locked out of making line-up or pitching staff changes. I've gone to Control & Auto Play Settings and under Team Control Settings, line-ups, depth charts, and staff are set to my manager and I can't change it.

I read online that this requires the global settings to be:

Go to Game>Game Settings>Global Settings
Check the box for "GM only users are always in control of lineups (legacy mode)

Same is true for player strategies I noticed.

Is this something new in '17 and we need a commish change to make this happen?

Surprisingly enough I was able to download and update everything from AA's Admiral Club. Kudos for great internet AA!

Sounds like a setting Corey has to change. I don't know though.
I will ask him and I will take a look as soon as I get a chance today.

If so, he will need to make that change and upload a new file most likely.

I love the coach windows! Not sure how much coaches matter in this version but the added touches are nice.

Is it possible to get all 6 windows like we had before when clicking "Rosters and Transactions"? Even when I click Minor Leagues I am only getting 4 windows and can not see my Rookie League or International Complex.
