I don't think anyone is going to argue that you're more likely to find that a racist white person is Republican, but I can assure you that there are racist white people that are also democrats. personally, I don't like to associate myself with 1 party. There are some topics where I may be "left" or some where I may be "right", but I feel that to back a republican, just because they are republican, or to back a democrat just because they are a democrat and I really feel like this helps play into why we still have racism in this country.

We, as Americans, can't just be human.
We always have to have labels. Black, White, Republican, Democrat, Jewish, Italian....etc. and this is what, in my opinion, is dividing our country.

I don't like the 2 party system we use here in America.
What if Donald Trump was just running as Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton was just running as Hillary Clinton....not as Democrat Trump or Republican Clinton.

Im pretty sure i've went back a clarified that of coarse not all are Republicans. The point that is being missed is that right now the party of hate is the republicans. When you allow your candidates to go to events hosted by KKK members or religious zealots who advocate the killing of gays. You can not say that racists or bigots don't have home in your party. They might have not been out front but they were allowed to stay in the house and that is damning enough. Your party pushed voting restrictions that affect minority voters disproportional. If republicans really were the fiscally conservative party that they claim to be I'd vote red to but those guys have now been overran with the worst of the party.

To me the far left fringe would be like the hardcore green peace type peeps. And as far as Bernie goes I hope so! We dont want Cuba or other south america socialism that you guys like to bring up as examples of how socialism is doomed to fail we want the Denmark's and Norway's blueprint of socialism that still have a strong market economy and strong social saftey net. Which I dont think is even socialism since I dont think the government controls all aspects of the economy. But I could be wrong

They are taxed out of their minds. Those countries also have less people living in them than New York City. They are like a suburb. They also have a higher percent of people contributing to the economy. The United States is just too damn big with too many people for that model to work.

I was reading about socialism in those countries just maybe a week ago. From what I recall, it's not as great and rosy as it seems. It was back in the 70s, but not as much any more. And the 2 or 3 articles I read all agreed that it worked not because of the culture of those countries, which are different than ours.
