Re: Realignment Draft(Cookeville on the clock)
I will set it at 4 hours with breaks in the night time hours but honestly hope we don't have to enforce it. But yes, I know this group and their adherence to keeping things moving with time limits in drafts.GeorgesGoons wrote:How much time on the clock do we get?

If you prefer, feel free to send me a list. We have until roughly Sunday or Monday depending on how many days I sim so we have the time so let's keep it moving.

Re: Realignment Draft(Port Orange on the clock)
Do we really think east, central and west were that bad that we want red, white and blue?
Just curious as I am not a fan and wish the names would have stayed the same.

Re: Realignment Draft(Port Orange on the clock)
I would think keeping East, West, and Central will look funny if we end up with teams from random locations in them. San Diego and Boston in the Central for example.

I'm not sure what part you don't understand.The_Niddler wrote:And what exactly was our vote for?
I am assuming no live draft and that was what the vote was for?
We will just do it on the boards now?
And Reign, what did you want to happen if you don't like this way?
I am curious as I am way behind on reading up on a lot of the site today. Haven't been on all day.
Ok, I see this:
So what exactly or how exactly were you thinking of doing this?ReignOnU wrote:Pretty entertaining.
However I had 1 little twist in there... all 30 slots are randomly generated. So all teams are drafting at the same time. It's just that the top 2 spots in each division are locked to the top 12 teams and bottom 3 spots are locked to the bottom 18 teams.
30 teams draw draft position. Teams deemed in the top 12 need to fill the top 2 spots in each division, teams deemed bottom 18 draw the bottom 3 spots in each division. It just means that the top doesn't get completely filled before the bottom.

Sorry that I am not understanding, it is late now and heading to bed.

Fwiw Mike I'm not sure I saw that version of your idea until now. I think that would have worked fine as well, I just remembered yours as always being the bottom 12 drawing first followed by the top 18.

Re: Realignment Draft(Miami on the clock)
I prefer having all of the good teams in my league... it's nice to watch them destroy each other all season and in the playoffs. Then I get to play 1 great team, then typically a step down in the WS. I don't mind it.

Nick goes AL Blue or AL Red. My guess it will be blue. He wants that test

If I go Red, I think Nick goes NL. By going Blue, I'm inviting him to join us in the AL.

If he opts for you, there's a good chance Ted gets stuck with me... #perfectstorm
