Seeing at least 6 of the most active owners on the list has me saying you're overreacting a bit. I mean even your hand picked replacement owner Ohio didn't even vote and that has nothing to do with understanding the game . I will remember now that we vote using the utility and to pay more attention to the in game schedule but still I think you have to look at the list and realize it's not people saying screw JD, the league, or anything close to that

I utilized my entire 2.5M pool but didn't bid on the upper echelon pitching types

ted knows that most IFA tail off and end up way below what our scouts initially thought, he scoops them up then pawns them off in trades

research it

I don't follow your post, yes I know about IFA drop off but why wouldn't you want another form of cheap trade currency?

Kinda, some pan out. It's a crap shoot though. The best ever from IFAs is Luis polanco who is now a 76 rated SP for Alabama. I got him for $ 208333 during a year I was restricted.

I try and get the best and then I get as many as possible bc you never know.

I didn't say you wouldn't want them

I will say though I find it hard to believe that with 30 'top notch' scouts these guys seem to have slipped by them all

Ted, you were not unopposed, I was simply not giving a guy like SP Jose Dominguez, that my scout sees as a 20/51, the $9.5 Mil you gave him as a bonus to sign with you.
And Elphinstone you gave $6.29 Mil. My scout liked him as 20/72.
CF Zapata, 20/52, you gave $5 Mil.

I don't blame you, if you have the money to just throw around, why not.
But don't act surprised. I offered like $5 Mil each for the 2 SPs, but I am not going to spend a ton, then spend the same amount in tax, as anything over $2.5 Mil is taxed at 100%.

You spent $38,929,000 and will get hit that same amount in tax.
So it will cost you $77,858,000 for 13 players and you may end up with 3-4 that pan out to be good with maybe 1, being really good or superstar level.

The_Niddler wrote:I would like to personally thank the following teams for NOT voting for All-Stars on the OOTP OU website, it is much appreciated.

How am I supposed to use the results when we have over half the league that did not cast votes?
I said screw it and used the results anyways, but it is things like this that make me not want to waste my time and just let the game generate it and be done.

Chicago Windstorm
Cincinnati Titans
Dallas Texans
Detroit Gas Monkeys
Hillsboro Hops
Houston Alcoholics
Indianapolis Caucasians
Las Vegas Outlaws
Miami Vice
New England Spitters
Ohio Buckeyes
Orange County Ducks
Philadelphia Cheesesteaks
Richmond Greeks
San Diego Bucs
Sheltown Shockers
Toronto Aces
Winterfell Direwolves
I didn't even know they were up for a vote at the moment.

My bad.
