Better late than never, Picked up the game over the weekend and my 9 year old and I would still probably be playing if it wasn't for school and work. I dont know what it is yet, but one of the funnest sports game I have played.

Feel like I spend more time trying to connect to the EA Servers than actual game time...anyone else experience issues getting or staying connected?

if i leave the game on then i have to re connect each time. its not really an issue, i just hit the r3 or whatever its called and it syncs back up

No problems at all. I've played about 80 online games and had 3-4 with any lag at all... 2 of which I know I should have backed out of at the start of the game after seeing their connection.

Weird, I can usually play as many as I want in a row without issues but the problem is getting connected to the EA servers first. Read some complaints online about Battlefield and Madden as well. I think even using wifi my download speed was something like 30+ mbps which should be plenty fast enough

I have been playing FIFA for 12 years. And today I scored the greatest goal of my life.

I've been tinkering with manual crossing because I'm tired of how crossing has been on this game. I was playing FUT this afternoon, made a few moves, and crossed a ball into the box. And mis-hit it just slightly and sent it over the goal.

Or so I thought.

I'm pressing pause right at the ball gets to the back side of the goal, to make some subs, and I hear Martin Tyler lose his mind.

As the ball sails over the keeper's head, hits the back post, and flies into the goal. On a right footed-cross from the right side.

I will upload the video tomorrow, it'll be a bit weird because as I said....I paused right as it went in

figures I score a goal that would no doubt make EA's goals of the week, and I screwed up the footage. I'm hoping they will accept the replay.

Not sure why, but I've only been able to find one opponent today for the Cup and Seasons. Every other time it says No Opponent Found.

3 days later, same thing. Maybe half the time it finds someone to connect to.

that's odd, i never have an issue.

gotta be something in your settings or maybe your connection? i can see maybe 1 day you're stuck but not multiple days

I'm sure Fifa and or EA has some major issues with their servers as I've read numerous stories online about them "working to correct" those issues. Going to mess around with opening ports, anyone ever do that for the PS4?

The only issues I've had are lag issues from about midnight to 2am, and that's because there's an issue in my neighborhood that they are working on.
