Right, exactly. Tell me what other league has this completely ridiculous circus over such a minor issue.

The stuff Nick said is all some pretty major stuff. YOu can argue the Sterling one isn't, but even that, the NBA handled it quickly. Whether you agree with how they handled it, that's fine. But the point is, they handled it and it was done.

Goodell can't do that, because he so often mishandles these.

the nfl stories are bigger because the NFL is a much bigger sport than the NBA. And also, the NBA story on Sterling was huge, probably bigger than this. Only reaosn this is dragging on is cause a NFL HOF'er is in question

That's part of it, of course. Part of it also is because Goodell mishandles them. To prove my point, why didn't we see all these smaller issues being made into months long stories when Tags was in charge?

The notion that an owner losing his team was "probably bigger than this" and not like 80000000 times bigger is what I'm getting at.

You really think Goodell has handled this entire thing well? I don't know, maybe you just haven't read up on the case.

I think football rules the sports media/journalism world and this lame ass story has been gaining interest from a lot of people, and because of that, it is all in our face right now. To think of people saying Brady's career will be tarnished over this incident irritates me big time.

Judge was tough on the NFL yesterday. All reports/journalists and myself took it to believe the NFL took one on the chin.

But the few actual legal experts like Lester Munson have basically said it's a slam dunk win for the NFL coming up, Brady has no chance. Judge wa tough on the NFL in order to try to get them to cave and make a deal with Brady so the judge doesn't have to come down and make a ruling.

I am sad.
Perfect summary.

With this case, it could be any number of things, to be honest.

I haven't seen the actual reasons from the judge as of yet.

NFL kept itself on the front pages the entire offseason for a story that other leagues would have buried in a week or 2. settled it a week before the season starts and will get the poster boy back on TV for nationally televised week 1 game that will probably shatter viewing records. Bravo Goodell, Bravo.

Tebow released

i thought they traded Barkley? they must be planning on only carrying 2 QB's

i'd imagine Tebow and his camp was celebrating when Barkley got dealt only to get sucker punched a day later

QB info for the upcoming season.

9 QBs were 1st overall picks
20 QBs were 1st round picks
2 were undrafted (Romo and Hoyer)

Only college with 2 opening day starters is Michigan State.

It's wrong. I think the 1st rounders and 1st overalls are combined. Leaving way more answers than just Brady. Because think of cousins and dalton etc.

They cut Tebow and traded away Barkley because they had another QB they wanted that they were almost certain would be cut from his team. He was, so they signed him as the third string QB
