Re: Deal Sites
Wasn't sure where to put this, but Best Buy has a Gamer's Club Membership, $30 for 2 years, and you get 20% off of new games.
So you get new games for $47.99 instead of $59.99 for a $12 savings per game.
Not sure I buy 3 new games a year to make it worth my while, but I wanted to pass it along.

Re: Deal Sites
I would love an apple tv, if they could figure out how to jailbreak the 3rd generation so I could put XBMC on it.
And you can get them new for $69

Re: Deal Sites
Just buy a jailbroken 2nd generation one as they are plentiful and always for sale.
Why don't you just airplay it from your apple laptop or other device to the Apple TV and then you have the best of both worlds? I thought we talked about this and it had something to do with the lack of power or heating of the laptop.

Re: Deal Sites
We don't have an apple laptop anymore.
Only thing I have is my iphone for airplay and I don't want to jailbreak that to put Kodi (XBMC) on it.
And the Apple TV 2's are going for like $200.
I can use my phone to stream Amazon prime to it though. But all the other apps would be on the apple tv

Re: Deal Sites
Thinking of trying an Amazon Fire TV.
It is simple to install Kodi on there.

Re: Deal Sites
From what I am reading, you can install XBMC on the Fire TV stick too.
Not bad at all for $39.

Re: Deal Sites
I'm not sure if this fits here, but if you shop at Walmart with any regularity you should download and use their Savings Catcher app. You use it by scanning your Walmart receipt anytime you shop there. It then checks their prices against all the other competitors in your area. If it finds lower prices, you get the difference back in an E gift card. You can bank the gift card to build it up for as long as you want and then redeem it. I've been using it for a month and have built up a little over $14. I figure I'll let it accumulate until FIFA 16 comes out and then redeem it to get that.
The only possible drawback is that if you live in an area with very few places that the app recognizes as "competitors" you're not going to have a lot of luck. My mom lives in an area where Walmart is very literally the only place other than some small family owned or local businesses and she pretty much never gets any return on it.
