Steelers got Bud Dupree, Jsences boy!

The reason the Bengals are the Bengals:

They took a guy they could've gotten later in the draft. They had two different teams call them asking them to trade down in the first round so they could get Bud Dupree. The teams blatantly said they wanted to get ahead of the Steelers to keep them from getting them.

So the Bengals, instead of getting extra picks AND screwing over their rival by keeping them from getting the edge rusher they needed.....drafts an OL who was taken well ahead of where he would've probably gone, and who has a torn ACL and will miss at least half the season.

Bengals gonna Bengal

Congrats Dave, he was used all over the place here due to need. When he's allowed to just rush the passer, he's a monster.

Same here, first time in ages I've been totally thrilled w Jaguars draft. Our GM knows what it's doing, it's nice to have one who does. Giving Bortles some weapons. Last HB we took 2nd round was MJD, he did pretty well.

Granted, it would be soooo Goodell to do so, but shouldn't you be a little more certain than "probable" someone did something against the rules before suspending them?

Nole triple special

There are some pretty damning text messages that were released that pretty much prove Brady not only knew, but that he lied to investigators.

I was fixated on him being punished for something he was deemed "probable" to have done. But the more I read, "probable", in a civil trial for example, is the same as saying a preponderance of evidence, so that does make sense.

Granted, the punishment should be like a $25K fine and be done with it, but the NFL will over do it like they do with every punishment they hand out.

Goodell has Goodell'ed

It'll probably be overturned or reduced like every other time Goodell oversteps his boundaries and punishes too harshly. :)
