There are a lot of things I would do to avoid traffic, I loathe it

Podcasts have really helped as I delve into those.

Big fan of Serial and those true crimes type ones.

You're the second person I've heard mention that app. I'll likely be using it once my commute exceeds 2 miles

Just google Serial and it's one of the most popular podcasts ever done.it is done by the same people that do This American Life(also an awesome podcast to subscribe to) It is like 12 episodes and it chronicles the murder, trial, and details of this one crazy complicated case. It was so popular they will be doing a second season with a new case.

I thought it was so good that I listened to it from first episode to last on my drive to Texas and it killed so much time and drew me in.

So good.

It's like podcasts are taking us back to the days of the radio shows pre-TV. So weird.

It is very weird.

I don't listen to music unless someone is with me and I can't wait for new episodes.

Possibly another sign of getting old?

Yes this is all new to me on sleet and ice and what happens. Luckily my staff is prepared and they spent the night at the facility and I only live 7 minutes away.

It was in the 60s this weekend. Crazy weather

That's how it is in the mid west. 70 one day then snow the next and back to 70 a day later. Welcome!

Poop. We consider OKlahoma Midwest regardless of your fancy graphic. Ha ha!

Texas is definitely Southwest though.

I know you northerners and midwesterners get a kick out of this Florida boy talking about ice and sleet but this looks like the armageddon to me never having seen snow.

Let alone it was fun to drive in this morning!

I actually think its kind of cool.

But you missed the "killing time" reference when referring to serial? :-)
