Re: 2032 Season - The Junior Year (Ready 1/21)
So, last season when I had the promising middle infielder Archie Meredith and I went on a cruise, I trusted Corey to run my team. And the moment he took over, Meredith(drafted by Corey) suspiciously gets busted for PEDs and serves an 80 game suspension. Corey's fault, obviously!
He was 63 potential by my scout at the time of the bust and I think his overall was in the 50s. Since the suspension, his potential is all the way down to 22, and I think his contact rating is an abysmal 36 or something like that.
But the best part is, he's hitting just as well as he did pre-PED, .328/.372/.563/.935. I'm interested to see if those numbers come way down back to 22 overall type numbers or if his ratings slowly start going up again.

Alex Meyers had a 7.4 WAR last season, and was an All Star. I almost locked him up long term in the offseason, but so far this season his WAR is -.1, playing rather terrible.

My team has played very well against you this season. Thus far I think we are 5-4 against you guys. Although you have a chance to tie things up tomorrow.GeorgesGoons wrote:First losing sim since second week of the season. The Beef do have Miguel Hernandez back though, hoping he can pitch well after returning from his torn labrum. Washington is in a "slump" as he still leads the league in HR's, only has 8 this month. Made some adjustments to the lineup and Hunter White is killing it in the #5 spot, batting over .400 since his move there earlier in the month. Pitching is still the same, Moreno has pitched two nice games back to back, 13.2IP and 4ER's. Maybe he is turning the corner.

Sim is going to be delayed today gents.
I will post once I can start it. I am guessing at least another hour before I can start.

It's not often that an OOTP inside joke can literally make me laugh out loud. This one did.ajalves wrote:you rang?nick wrote:nah might have to trade him

I am Actually growing out my mustache and hair.shel311 wrote:you sure it wasn't cause you're the bald white dude in South Korea?GeorgesGoons wrote:I was at the bar and read this and laughed out loud and everyone looked at me like I was crazy.
Not sure the hair will last. I can't stand having hair, feels like I am a girl getting my hair pulled when I am sleeping when I have hair. So the mustache will definitely last longer

Translation:
My hair is growing back, but only around the back and temple area. For some reason the top isn't growing. I'll probably shave it off.
