My last week at an organization I have been with for 14 years.

It hasnt felt real yet regarding all of this until I started packing last night, peed in a cup for my drug test, and got to work and realized I am going to be even more worthless than I usually am in my office.

Also sucked when my little one says "I want to go to Texas with you daddy".

I have been with my company for 14 years next month.
Definitely sucks to have to look for a new job because we are moving, but to be closer to family will be nice.
Hoping now that it is January, companies pick up on their hiring needs.

The in-laws have spent so much time with the Krentsas buying up all their stuff. We go over today, Cathy and Cal are in the garage, and as we're going towards them Cal yells, "Clem!!!"

Then when we're leaving, saying our good byes, Clem gives Cal a quick kiss on the top of his head. I was like, what the heck is going on here.
