A friend of mine that's a diver welder took a trip over there for work. He said it was pretty cool. He even ran into a guy that we went to school with who was over there for military work. I've seen some pictures of the buildings and they are spectacular.

Among arab countries, pretty liberal. alcohol is legal there, lots of shopping, pretty safe. Probably will be cool to be around for a few days just checking things out.
