This is what I mean. I'm losing my starting AND backup C, and I only recruited to replace one of them. It really would've been helpful to know I wasn't allowed to try to talk a projected SIXTH ROUND PICK into staying a year. Same w Cooper and his fifth round projection.

Fine. Talk them into staying. Tired of the whining.

Funny how some can come in here and whine about little things like this but when I complain about you guys running up the scores, stats and not playing defense it's not that big of a deal.

wasted . . . jsence is a complainer . . . plain and simple. That guy bitches about EVERYTHING. Stick to your guns and make that brat live by the rules that everyone else has to live by. Don't give him any slack because he claims he "didn't know". You stated that at the beginning of the season, now, whether he had joined the league or not when this was stated is pretty irrelevant.

If you give in to him now, what makes you think he won't bitch and complain about something else later . . .

If I see a concerning score I usually check out the stats and who was scoring once the game is out of reach. I understand with the teams you guys have you're going to run into a cpu opponent that you're going to obliterate. I'm okay with this happening a game or two.

Now, get into 90 point games or players putting up just stupid numbers that would/will be a different story.

Just, really in a bad mood now.

How about this rule? It was posted right after a comment from you. Believe that's two that you seem to think shouldn't apply to you either. Page 55 if you need a refresher.

In fact....

My return man kept getting me 35-40 yds from the endzone. I had 300 yds passing and 250 came in first half. I could've scored 100 if I wanted to but I was just trying different runs from diff formations and trying to see what I can/can't do w this team.

Won't be a recurring thing, esp since I'm in the SEC

To be fair, he did win his bowl game by less than 30, so it's not like the score was being run up really. But dang, are some of y'all super siming defense? I know the CPU QBs are unstoppable at times, but dang.

My defense played better when I super simmed than when I tried to play it myself.

Nothing to do with how much he won by. I'll even give him props for making sure Yeldon didn't have a good game so he wouldn't declare.

I'm shocked that none of my QBs are leaving, I guess I'll be going for the triple. I better stock up on seafood and lawyers.

I don't super sim my D . . . but I am at the point where I am tired of the CPU completing the most unrealistic passes. Actually, this last game against Wisconsin, I couldn't stop the run. On the first 2 defensive series, the Badgers' HB had 4 carries for 100 yards. It was amazing how the OL was plowing through my D and how many tackles he was breaking.

If you (wasted), feel I am doing something wrong by being so horrible on D, then please tell me and I will either start super summing or figure something else out. Guess I need some pointers as to what I need to do on D . . . because I SUCK against the CPU on D.

No, this probably got more out of hand then it needed to. Just really struck a nerve with me this morning. I'm over it.

Rules are rules. You win your bowl game you can't stop early entrants.

1) I wasn't asking you to change the rule. I was voicing my frustration in the fact that I wasn't alerted to this rule. I wasn't asking you to let me talk them into staying. I would like to see the rule amended for future seasons (like I said, IRL few guys would leave if they were going 5/6/7 round and knew they could come back and improve that stock), but that's up to you. My biggest issue was that I wasn't told this until just now. I love how Randawg acts like it was announced at the start of the season, when you clearly stated it was announced last offseason. But now I know for next year.

2) I scored 90 points because I had to keep scoring. Bridgewater was a fucking robo-QB. If I blitzed, he torched me for huge gains. If I didn't blitz, he'd take off running or start to run and then hit an open guy. I don't supersim the defense, but maybe I should have for this game. It didn't matter WHAT I did, the only thing that stopped them was when I got a sack on third down, or they'd drop a pass. He converted three third-and-20 or longer plays. As for me putting up "ridiculous numbers", the only difference between mine and Bridgewaters was that he didn't score as many TDs. We both had similar attempts/completions/yards. They recovered an onside kick in the 4th and nearly recovered two others, and when I tried to run it out they blitzed and stripped me twice (I recovered both thankfully). I kept scoring to make sure I won the game. I could've lost and gotten to talk my guys back but I played to win. I struggle on defense if I'm not getting pressure with my DL vs the computer, as they tend to torch me.

3) Yeldon's numbers had nothing to do with him leaving early (believe it or not, I'd rather have seem him go than Cooper, who I allowed to have a huge game), and everything to do with UofL running thunder green all the time. That's a big reason why I had such a great passing day, it's easy to pick apart single man coverage across the board w no safety help. I tried early to establish the run and they kept blowing it up, so I said screw it.

4) Randawg, thanks for your two cents, "brat". Not even gonna stoop to your level, but I will tell you that I couldn't care less what you think.

Time to find out how serious Pengy was about putting all his recruiting points on one kid. My board has one kid, and one alone.

An FYI Jason, the not stopping players from leaving if you win your bowl game was my idea, and I think it's great as it is way too easy to talk players into coming back that try to leave early. It is unfortunate that this caught you by surprise, but this was not an attack on you, no reason to take it personally. Save that for when we play next.............
