That would make sense. I was just flipping thru the channels when I heard this. Must not have heard the whole thing. I am still sticking with my Bust prediction. Still think he will be a good player but not a top 5 pick. I think he would be a steal at #15 but will not put up the numbers what everyone expects for a #1 pick.shel311 wrote:Interesting.GeorgesGoons wrote:Am I the only one that thinks Clowney will be a bust? I don't think he will be a bust due to his physical attributes but due to him being lazy. I remember catching part of a Gamecocks game last season and there was an iteresting stat, wish I could find it, where they were talking that offenses had more yards per play when he was on the field than off the field. And that rushing attacks towards his side of the line averaged more yards per play than on the other side. Like I said, I wish I could find this and I am just going off the top of my head.
About half way through the season. I heard some advanced metrics stuff where when he was in the game. They ran away from him like 75% of the time or something.
Then, on passes, teams got rid of the ball a full half second quicker when he was in the game. So quick, that the QB release when he's in the game was quicker than any NFL QB release.
Those things kinda made sense as to how much of a game changer he was without putting up big numbers.

Seems pretty straightforward to me. The chick wanted to get with him, stripped down and wouldn't leave. He wasn't having it and wanted her out. He called hotel security who couldn't get anywhere with the phone call, then he had one of his boys call for him. My guess there is that he was trying to keep his name out of it as much as possible.

I went to two XFL games. Needless to say the most exciting part of it was when two players ran after the football at the beginning. That was bad ass and frankly the NFL should do that instead of flipping a coin.

If under the treatment of a physician, I don't see the problem with it, honestly.
Re: NFL Thread
I realllyyy think if Houston cant trade out of the #1 spot (theyll try desperate to), they will draft Mack over Clowney. They dont feel CLowney can work in their 3-4 system and Mack is that OLB they need. That would be great for the Rams who draft Clowney and then have Long, Clowney and Quinn on the Dline.. good lord

HGH Side Effects and Other Hazards
Possible side effects of HGH use include:
nerve, muscle, or joint pain
swelling due to fluid in the body's tissues (edema)
carpal tunnel syndrome
numbness and tingling of the skin
high cholesterol levels
HGH can also increase the risk of diabetes and contribute to the growth of cancerous tumors.

Re: NFL Thread
I think what nick says is accurate. Mack would work well in a 3-4 system. If the Rams got clowney it's been shown in the league a big time D Line can keep you in games.

most of those things are going to happen anyhow. .Cnasty wrote:HGH Side Effects and Other Hazards

I read somewhere that it causes your skull to grow too. That's why Barry Bonds always wore a hat in his interviews late in his career. Supposedly some guys' hat sizes increased by two or three increments.

I know you're just posting it for the sake of the conversation, but think about the listed side effects for pretty much all the prescribed meds we take nowadays, it probably looks pretty similar to this.Cnasty wrote:HGH Side Effects and Other Hazards
