Re: Random Discussions
Never thought about this one that much, really.
A shortlist off the top of my head would be:
San Diego
Austin
And whatever city gets me 3-4 hours from Vegas and a few nice places for things like skiing and snowy type things, but just far enough to where I don't have to worry too much about the cold. Where's that place? Put it in my top 3.

Ive never been there, what didnt you like about it? I like the idea of it for the reasons Shel mentioned: proximity to Vegas/Mountains (for a snow fix)/warm weatherLetsGoPeay wrote: Flagstaff - Overrated

Places I have lived:
Omaha, NE - Born and raised.
Hawai'i (Oahu) - great if you don't have kids. Once the boy was born the surfing, golfing and partying stopped
San Antonio - way too damn busy
Fort Stewart, GA - An hour away from Savannah. Love the history there
Colorado Springs - love it here. Winters are much milder than I expected.
Places I would like to live (in no order):
Omaha
Colorado Springs
Denver
Lincoln, NE
anywhere just outside of Indianapolis
anywhere outside of Chicago
Hawai'i

Made the gf's niece sad, she was hoping for a Ghostsbusters reunion at some point.
Saw last week that movie is 30 years old. That made me feel a bit old just reading it.

Places I'd like to live in the US...
1.) Oregon / Washington / Northern California (this area)
- East coast sports start at 5p; I'm in bed by 11p every night; Weather is relatively predictable and decent... how is this not the best place in the US?
2.) New England states (only on the coast)
- I may not know enough about this area to be positive, but everything I see/read seems good and bearable. I've never actually been there.
Every place else seems to have it's positives/negatives. I'd avoid rednecks as much as possible and living in large cities.

I just picked up some good seats for One Republic and The Script. I enjoy both bands. Feel free to bash my taste in music.
