I snipe at a Harvard level. Jason snipes at a Community College level. That is the difference.

Can still camp and be a sniper or be useless as a sniper.

For example:
Map-nuketown

Scenario- Jason in a house watching b as we get it or "protecting" b

Results more often than not- we get killed on b or we lose b.

W the maps the way they are, you're not going to effectively control a point by sniping. Vehicles negate that. But you can keep infantry off a point or (more importantly) counter-snipe their snipers. That's usually what I'm doing when I snipe (which I only do on certain maps) is keeping other rooftops clear so our guys can move, or keeping infantry off of a certain position.

Are you up for a challenge? In the first DICE Community Mission we want all Battlefield 4 players to collectively grab 10,000,000 dog tags using melee attacks. If the objective is completed in time, all participating players will be rewarded with a gold battlepack (handed out on February 20). The Community Mission can be found under “Missions” here on Battlelog.

The community mission is active between February 5, 8AM PST/5PM CET and February 11, 8AM PST/5PM CET.

No, I'm saying that sniping in COD is 10x easier than sniping in BF. The physics are massively different.

COD:
Bullets hit the target almost instantly, no matter the range
Quickscoping is possible
Bullet drop/wind never a factor
Semiautomatic sniper rifles available

BF:
Bullet speed is based on distance and power of the rifle (shots over 400m will take 2-3 seconds to hit the targeted area)
You can't quickscope (heck, until you unlock straight pull on a sniper rifle, you have to zoom out after every shot)
The distance/velocity of a shot will require you to adjust for distance on shots over 150m, and maps with storms/wind will require adj of the shot as well
Every sniper rifle is bolt action

I was looking over stats and was shocked to see that I actually have more vehicles destroyed in a single game (17) than you do (13). I figured you'd have a 20 spot by now.

We should do a mission for vehicle kills in a set number of games, would be a fun one.

No I stunk at PS3 Ghosts.

I immediately saw a difference in PS4. Things were crisper and I could make out people on maps like that castle map whereas I couldn't before.

Nothing but "real" scopes on BF and I do just fine shooting

All seriousness though, my eyesight was a problem and still is; my lens prescription changed drastically from my pair I got 18 months ago to the ones I'm about to get, so much so that the thickest part of my current lens is thinner than the thinnest part of my new lens
