Not the best timing to bump this one as the latest evidence has been the most damning against Martin.

Re: Everyone Owes Incognito an Apology
evidence? LOL the interview where there are text of Martin saying"I'll kill your family?"
or that he said it was the culture?
How is that damning? Incognito is still a meathead, and even admitted he took it too far. Martin felt like if he did not play along with the other meat heads he would not fit in. Martin is so in the right here its not even funny.

I'd love to know where you draw the line on the pretending to fit in explanation and how far it can be pushed out and that person still be considered the victim.Dolemitesooner wrote:evidence? LOL the interview where there are text of Martin saying"I'll kill your family?"

People join gangs and commit crimes all in the name of fitting in, you giving them a pass also when they use that defense? I bet not.

Come on Shel you wanna compare this to Gangs?
Texting someone in private and saying what they said is not that big of deal. Saying stupid things in the locker room is not that big of deal. Requiring your Oline to have weekly meetings a stirp club. Big deal. Making rookies pay for team dinners Big deal. Making player buy other plays Jet-ski's Big deal

“Richie wanted to set up Richie's world as a way for everybody to act,” a team source told Cole. “Richie thinks everybody should act that way. He doesn't get that some guys aren't into that behavior. Some guys don't want to constantly explain to their wife or girlfriend why they have to go to a strip club.”
And if players didn't go? Incognito would mock them for not being part of the group, Cole wrote.
On Thursday, Cam Cleeland, who was a tight end with the Rams when Incognito was drafted, said this about his former teammate.
"I'm not afraid to say that he was an immature, unrealistic scumbag," Cleeland told the Los Angeles Times. "When it came down to it, he had no personality, he was a locker-room cancer, and he just wanted to fight everybody all the time. It was bizarre beyond belief."
This and the reports of him stealing Tannehill's credit card are over the line.
Just because a few of other douche bags back him up does not mean he is innocent, just as many have told the dark side of Richie

I don't see videos of Johnathan Martin acting like this.

The question still stands, where do you draw the line between excusing behavior as trying todfit in and then crossing the line to where it not excused?Dolemitesooner wrote:Come on Shel you wanna compare this to Gangs?

I'll answer your dumb ass question. The line is Killing people, stealing from people, and physical harming people is not excused.shel311 wrote:The question still stands, where do you draw the line between excusing behavior as trying todfit in and then crossing the line to where it not excused?Dolemitesooner wrote:Come on Shel you wanna compare this to Gangs?

Give me dumb logic, you'll get dumb questions.Dolemitesooner wrote:I'll answer your dumb ass question

So, if you do a whole bunch of drugs under the guise of trying to fit in with a group, you're innocent according to Dole and everyone else is at fault, right?Dolemitesooner wrote:The line is Killing people, stealing from people, and physical harming people is not excused.

What do you know about that incident?Dolemitesooner wrote:Making player buy other plays Jet-ski's Big deal
This jet ski example is such a great example of how the media shapes and controls the publics thoughts on things.
Glad you brought that one up.

I guarantee Kenny Powers forced some rookie to buy his jet-ski.shel311 wrote:What do you know about that incident?Dolemitesooner wrote:Making player buy other plays Jet-ski's Big deal

I still stand by my comments on bullying and how horrible it can be but this doesn't look very good for Martin.

Re: Everyone Owes Incognito an Apology
Never said that. I never even said Incognito was 100% the problem. I said he is a douchebag Meathead. He is also part of the culture problem with the NFL in 2013 as well as Dez Bryant, and Dwayne Bowe, Justin Blackmon.......shel311 wrote:Give me dumb logic, you'll get dumb questions.Dolemitesooner wrote:I'll answer your dumb ass question

Re: Everyone Owes Incognito an Apology
i'm also trying not to jump to conclusions either way.
the media did a great job painting Incognito out to be a complete sociopathic human terrorist but I have a hard time with the 'other teammates are neandrathals' line. maybe some, but not as many as have come out to support Incognito. at some point when people that close to the situation speak you at least have to step back from your stance. I was fully for Martin before, now i'm more towards the Incognito is probably a prick but Martin probably has some issues that led to this camp.

I work on a team of a little over 100 people. No one here is getting arrested. Having meeting a strip clubs or making the remarks these guys are making.Dolemitesooner wrote:Never said that.
