Everyone Owes Incognito an Apology

Post by trendon »

The support is pouring the fuck in from left and right. It is now quite clear that Martin is a complete pussy.

So, because a bunch of old school thinking macho men that refuse to believe they're subject to anxiety disorders, panic attacks, or concussions think Martin is a pussy, they're right?

They are neanderthals, with only a few exceptions.

Please. You need them to be neanderthals in your mind or else you'd have a stroke trying to figure out why half of them make more off of a sports drink than you will in your lifetime, even with your education and excellent job. They are all smarter than we think.

Either way, we got black dudes on that team saying they love Incognito.

There are black dudes down a few blocks from me that love them some smack too. Your point is?

Look, I know your type. You view any sign of aggression as distasteful and a sign of non-intelligence. I view a sign of aggression as a sign of aggression. We'll be here all day.

I wouldn't say all, but I see your point. But I would say most pay for the agent and advisors to help them make the smart decisions that you're referring to.

While maybe true, I'd like to think most of us can agreethat calling Incognito a neanderthal would be an insult to neanderthals.

I typed my coincidence story here, I think. No less than one minute before TheScore app sent the alert about Incognito (and all of this began), I was talking with a customer about how, by all accounts, Incognito has changed as a person. Looks like that might still be true.

To be fair, it also looks like it might not be true lol.

http://mmqb.si.com/2013/11/07/richie-in ... on-murtha/

From Lydon Murtha, former Nebraska and Dolphin teammate and claimed to be acquaintences with both Incognito and Martin. Murtha was highly recruited and was a four-year starter at Nebraska largely due to his size and, you got it, his intelligence ... as most offensive linemen are noted for.

Not really. A lot of facts are in, man. Combine that with the fact that this voicemail was from April and here is my final hypothesis (my initial one, if you recall, was that Incognito, Martin, and the other teammates all shared equal responsibility for this): Martin did not want to play football anymore and quit the team but his parents were the driving force behind this lawyering-up."

That's my final answer.

I was gonna let the extra thread slide, but now we're just posting the same stuff in 2 threads lol

There's still not nearly enough facts in to draw any conclusion you could be completely sure of.

Oh, and my prediction?

Martin wins no money and never plays again and Incognito suspended four games, retroactive if necessary. Ted Wells' report shows that Incognito was very insensitive towards Martin but no different than he was with any other player and, in fact, was instructed (along with other teammates) to "toughen up" Martin. Philbin is out if the Dolphins don't win ten games.

Well, let's see how my prediction plays out.

i don't see a suspension unless its served retro... i could see him being forced to take sensitivity classes or something like that though.

How he talked to the player is only an issue to the media.

The financial stuff, though? Yeah, he's gonna pay for that, as will the other "vets". The NFLPA and the NFL will have to take action, it's borderline extortion.

If you think Philbin instructed Incognito to toughen Martin up and the GM told Martins agent he should punch Incognito, then you can't think Martin won't receive money, right?
